Welcome to our homes! Twice is Nice is the latest, brand new addition, with access off the alley, parking for three vehicles, partial fencing for privacy. We are right in the heart of Paso Robles on the desirable “West Side”. New construction with all the modern & convenient amenities, including hardwood floors, gourmet kitchen, in-floor heating in the two bathrooms. The open floor plan is illuminated by multiple clerestory windows creating an open, light and bright atmosphere throughout the home. Paso Robles has so much to offer and we’re just blocks away from a wide variety of restaurants, wine-tasting rooms, concerts & festivals in the park. The Park Cinema screens current films; there are monthly events at the Mid State Fair & the Paso Robles Events Center. Many fine wine tasting rooms surround Paso Robles and are a beautiful, leisurely, short drive away. Just half an hour away by car you’ll find Lake Nacimiento & Lake San Antonio, as well as the beautiful coastal towns of Morro Bay, Avila, Cayucos & Cambria ~ the gateway to Big Sur. City Permit #STR19-0189. ***We start your stay with a supply of coffee, filters, cream, and sugar for the provided Italian drip coffee maker onsite. (No pod-style coffee maker is available at this home.) ***Wi-Fi and/or power outages can occur periodically in our small town and rural settings, over which we have no control. ***We continue to implement our already rigorous cleaning protocols along with an added layer of disinfecting, as we finalize for each guest arrival.***

We stay in several vacation rentals across the country each year. This house is at the top of our stays.
The house is in a great location for walking into town for dinner. It has plenty of off street parking.
The layout was well thought out.
The kitchen is well equipped and the den and dining room were comfortable.
The bedrooms were a nice size and the bathrooms were large. The walk in shower was especially nice.

This was our second stay at Twice is Nice. Great location for downtown Paso - very walkable - this is nice for morning coffee and breakfast, wine tasting, and dinner. The house was in an ideal location to walk around.
The house was absolutely excellent. The beds were extremely comfortable. The open concept of the house was great. The couches were great. The kitchen had a lot of utensils and everything that you would need when you’re at home I would recommend anybody to stay there. It was a little bit too high in the one bathroom the bathtub, but other than that it was absolutely fantastic. We were extremely happy. Great house walkable to downtown!
We had a great stay at Twice is Nice! The house is in a great location that is walkable to downtown and close to most of the wineries. The house has everything that you would need to make your stay great. It's clean, updated and the beds were comfortable. Perfect place for two couples to stay when visiting Paso Robles. My only negative would be to get some window blinds or coverings in both of the bedrooms for the upper windows. At night both bedrooms have lights that shine through from the neighboring houses making it difficult to fall asleep. I also think that a fire pit on the porch would be a great addition. Steve and Dawn’s vacation rental was absolutely lovely! Everything including the interior design, layout, high end fixtures and even the beds were of exceptional quality. The neighborhood is very quiet since the house faces a picturesque ally. Amazing modern home.
This is one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever rented. Modern, beautifully appointed, upscale finishes, great beds/pillows/linens, well equipped kitchen, light & bright with big windows, great patio and so quiet. Perfect 2 bedroom layout with a large great room. You feel like you’re in a tree house with all the trees surrounding the property. The home is only blocks from town and wineries are close by. Property was perfectly cleaned and well maintained. Property managers were available, if needed. I would recommend this home to friends and family, some of whom stayed with me over my 5 weeks.
Local restaurants we liked: Il Cortille, La Consecha, Thomas Hill Organics & the Odyssey Cafe’. Try Pasolivo and We Olive for olive oil and balsamic vinegar tastings downtown. The farmers market sets up on Tuesdays & Saturdays near the park. For days of multiple wine tastings we hired Uncorked to ferry us around. They recommended The Red Scooter for picnic lunches and their food was delicious.
There are over 300 wineries in Paso and I visited 33 of them. I stayed on the west side and my favorites were: Thacher, LeCuvier, Ecluse, Giornata, Jacob Toft, kukkala, Lone Madrone, Tablas Creek, Austin Hope, Clos Solene, Six Mile Bridge, Benom, Denner, Epoch, L’Aventure,Sextant, TH Estates, & Wines of the West. We sought out the smaller wineries where we could talk to the winemakers and owners. I joined 4 wine clubs (Ecluse, Jacob Toft, Le Cuvier & Thacher). And don’t miss Tin City which has several tasting rooms. We were in San Luis Obispo a few times and scheduled a tasting at Talosa which has an exquisite setting & excellent Pinots.

This place is a perfect location if you want to walk downtown. It's also just a 10-15 min drive to tons of wineries. Perfectly clean and well equipped for cooking. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a nice size.

Twice is Nice is located approximately 2 blocks from the square, being centrally located it is ideal for anyone interested in shopping, wine tasting, meals etc. without having to drive very far. It was very clean, well furnished, the only items that might be added is a welcoming bottle of wine and coffee.
