Through the front door you will find a spacious, naturally-lit living room adorned with plenty of seating for movie-watching and conversations, two-sided gas fireplace, and an amazing wine bar, repurposed and inspired by a 1920s former light-bulb testing machine. The living room opens up to a family-friendly, Spanish style chef’s kitchen that features JA Henckles and Tramontina pots and pans, a gas stove, a custom dual-temperature wine cooler, and a vintage wine bottle opener. The bottom floor has two bedrooms with queen Simmons Beautyrest Hospitality beds, custom closets, and a shared bathroom with a walk-in shower. Enjoy both South and West facing balcony views, or make your way up the spiral stairwell to be inside the red tower and get ready to be captivated by 360° panoramic views of this magnificent landscape. The porch leads you to the separate 800 sq. ft. guesthouse which features an open living space, fully equipped kitchen, and King-sized Starwood W Hotel Plush bed with en suite bathroom, and walk-in closet. The guest house also includes a twin-sized authentic Japanese floor futon that can be set-up upon request. Finally, enter the garage and find classic games of ping pong, fooseball, croquet, and an original Skeeball game for the entire family to enjoy! Fantastic! Couldn't have been better!

We had a group of six stay at your lovely home. The place was immaculate, the decor was beautiful, and the view from just about every angle was stunning. It really was a sanctuary and yet still close to town. We went to Sensorio Light Field, Hearst Caste, and several wineries. We ate one dinner in town but our favorite nights were when we stayed in. We cooked diinner as a group, played in the game room and then topped off the night gazing at stars in the hot tub. Thank you so much! Every one of us had an amazing time!!! - Cristina P., Van Nuys, CA

Beautiful property, perfect for a large group

We had a great time at this property! The house was impeccably clean, beds were extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We had a total of 9 guests staying at the house and we all fit comfortably. The property management team was easy to work with and answered all of our questions quickly. I would definitely recommend this property and happily stay here again. - Anonymous, BEND, OR

Family getaway for SLO Graduation

We loved our stay at Tour de Rouge! Our group ranged in ages from 70 to 3 years old and we all enjoyed it. This property is very family friendly. We brought our childrens’ bikes, and our 7 and 10 year olds loved riding up and down the long driving and around the quiet streets in the neighborhood while my 3 year old enjoyed scooting along the giant wrap-around porch. We spent our mornings drinking coffee on the porch and looking at the breathtaking view of the countryside. One morning some deer came right into the yard! It was gorgeous. The garage play room was a huge hit too. The skeeball machine was awesome! Also, the backyard made a perfect whiffle ball field (we brought our own bat and ball). At night, we barbecued and ate outside watching the sunset and enjoyed the spa at twilight. We all slept great. The beds are all incredibly comfortable. Being mom, I ended up falling asleep in almost every bed in the house when I tucked the kids in. So, I can tell you there’s not an uncomfortable bed in the house (and I’m very particular)! The local activities were a lot of fun. One day we did wine tasting at J. Lohr and lunch at Firestone Brewery. We were in town for our niece’s graduation from SLO and our drive to graduation took about 30 minutes. We are very glad we opted to stay here and turn it into a real vacation instead of getting hotel closer to the university. - Lauren S., La Mirada, CA

Great Family Vacation!

For the first time in many years my wife, sisters, brother in laws and I were able to sneak away for a few days and we chose Tour de Rouge and glad we did. From the time we arrived to the time we had to pack to go home, the trip was great, primarily because of the accommodations! - Thomas F., San Clemente, CA

Awesome Getaway!

The Tour de Rouge was the perfect place for 4 couples and two toddlers. Centrally located yet secluded. It included almost everything we needed! Loved the views and the hot tub. Lots of space for everyone to spread out! - Allison D., Atlanta, GA

Fun and Family-Friendly

We were in Paso Robles for a family reunion an rented Tour de Rouge for our immediate family. The games were a big hit with adults and kids. We played a lot of croquet and found out that our 4 year old nephew is a skeeball prodigy. The big porches were perfect for dinner al fresco, and the guest house was really convenient for a family with small kids with early bedtimes. The views were beautiful, and we felt very comfortable - more than enough space for 9 people.

There were a few things that could be improved. The key code didn't initially work and we had to call to get a temporary code. There were very few basic maintenance supplies available (trash bags, windex, etc.) We didn't realize the futon was an oversized cushion and there were no additional sheets for it, so someone ended up sleeping on the couch. The overlapping rugs upstairs are a trip hazard (an older parent fell - he was okay, but it's worth mentioning).

All in all, it was an excellent stay, and an absolutely perfect set up for our family. Overall we loved our experience, and I would recommend this house to others. - Megan M., ,

HEAVENLY MAGIC ON EARTH .

Heavenly Magic on Earth. This wonderful place is something out of a fairy tale. How could such a place exist and only be 2.5 hours from my home. The houses (main house, guest house) garage with games, 3 acres of beautiful property. Fit for a King!!! Kitchen was first class. Now, home again, I will probably have to redo my house to resemble this exquisite place. Thank you again and again, Jane Davis - Jane D., ,

Wonderful Stay at Tour de Rouge!!

Our group of seven comfortably stayed at Tour de Rouge recently while in the area to visit wineries, distilleries, and to generally experience the Paso area. Amazing Experience

We could not have asked for a better experience! The property was amazing and views to die for. We had four couples for the weekend and fit easily. PSVR was great to deal with and made the check-in and check-out process flawless. It's not walking distance to anything so renting a car would be recommended. - Dana S., Lakewood, CO

Amazing!

We had a great time at Tour de Rouge. Super easy check in/check out, the property was easy to find and had a beautiful view. It was clean, well-maintained. We had a small issue with the code for early check in, but the manager helped us out right away. The weekend we were there was 110 degrees, so we were incredibly grateful for the AC in both buildings. It was a great home base for our wine tasting excursions throughout the weekend. I'd totally recommend this property to everyone. On top of everything, you get some bang for your buck! Highly recommend - Jenna S., Santa Barbara, CA
