Built in 1898, this lovingly renovated two-story brick Victorian home showcases the perfect blend of old- world charm and modern amenities. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the house is a 5-minute walk from the Town Square Park where there are numerous (fantastic) restaurants, delightful coffee houses and many options for wine tasting. Step inside and be greeted by the original Douglas fir floors, doors, and hardware that whisper tales of a bygone era. The home exudes a timeless elegance with its preserved light fixtures and baseboards, offering a glimpse into the past while ensuring a comfortable stay. PLEASE NOTE this is a historic home with a very steep, narrow, staircase to the upper floor which may prove challenging to anyone with mobility limitations. With 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, this grand home is an ideal retreat for guests seeking a touch of history. The upstairs master bedroom boasts a king bed and an en suite private bath with a marble tiled shower; the second en suite bedroom is also upstairs with a queen bed and generous shower; the third upstairs bedroom is located next to the common bath; and, the fourth upstairs bedroom features two twin XL beds and is down the hall from the common bathroom. The fifth bedroom is located on the ground level, and has easy access to the fourth bathroom which is located off of the dining room downstairs. Relax in the shaded backyard oasis complete with a pool, hot tub, pergola and BBQ area, perfect for enjoying Paso Robles' renowned wines al fresco. The well-appointed kitchen, with granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances invites culinary adventures, while the antique oak dining table provides a charming setting for memorable meals. Unwind in the cozy den which looks out on the pool, or curl up with a book, or gather for movie nights in the formal parlor, which has plenty of seating and a large-screen television. The central heat and air conditioning ensure year-round comfort, and the high-speed wireless internet keeps you connected. So, naturally, the Tolle House has a dedicated bike shop with Park Tool professional bike stands and tools, so cyclists can assemble, tune and store their bikes. The owners are happy to share their favorite rides upon inquiry. The pool is not offered as heated.
