We were attending graduation at Cal Poly and the whole family gathered from around the US and had a great time together in this old family ranch house.
Comfortable beds and furnishings, large but rather featureless back yard, horses and a donkey nearby for the kids to visit.
A little run in with the management about something previously damaged that had nothing to do with us or our family, but managed to smooth it over.

Wonderful weekend!
Very lovely, comfortable and spacious home. Loved the open kitchen and living room layout the allowed all of us to gather and chat while watching either basketball or the virtual graduation ceremony. Location was quiet, safe and convenient enough. Downtown is at least 10 to 15 mins. away so just plan your trips. It was perfect for us. Wonderful Rental! Perfect for family bonding!
We are so happy that we chose to go with this rental. Peace of Mind is exactly the perfect name for this vacation rental. It was complete with all the necessities. The house is huge and well-kept. It was so very clean and tidy. The backyard has a long grassy area where you can set up lawn games. There's a bbq grill but didn't get to use it. The a/c worked well and kept us comfy all night. The rental was maybe 2 minutes from the freeway entrance where there is a gas station you can fill up, and 10 minutes from downtown Paso. Again, glad we stayed at this property! Lovely Home short drive to downtown Paso Robles
Home was very spacious, accommodated 10 ladies on a girls trip very nicely. Lots of room to spread out. Kitchen was well stocked with coffee, coffee maker, and top of the line appliances. HUGE house for a SMALL price!!
First off... LOVED this house. We come to Pismo every year and stay at different places every time. This house was EXCELLENT!!! Had all the space for my huge family n friends we had. Summer stay at Peace of Mind
I booked this house for a family reunion weekend and we loved it! There was plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 kids, and it was spotless. The kids loved the surrounding horses and large yard. The only issue was the air conditioning on one side of the house stopped working, but management was super responsive and had someone out right away to fix it. Peace of mind was the perfect place for us. Our group of 7 adults were just in the area a couple days for wine tasting and fellowship. The house had large spaces to hang out, comfortable beds and responsive/ professional management. One concern I had about the place prior to arriving was it's proximity to the truck stop. From the perspective of the house you would never know the truckstop is there. I don't think any of us even heard a truck. A couple of us are going to bring our families to Peace of Mind,for other trips to the Paso area. The house is about 5 minutes north of Paso Robles with easy 101 exit and entry with the least expensive gas in the area on the corner. One small heads up. Wonderful nice beautiful place. If your really looking for a place for peace of mind this would be prefect especially for family gathering. Front lawn and backyard lawn very beautiful. Great place for reunion!
We are some college friends that want to do a reunion in the middle of SF and LA, and this place in Paso Robles is just the place we want! It's not in the very center of the downtown, but about 10-15 min drive to everything you need. The house is mostly isolated, the nearest neighbors are the horses and other animals. You live like a ranch owner here! Living room is very spacey, got plenty space for kids to run, a formal dining room and a game room with poker table. Great Place for a Large Family
This was an awesome rental for 10 extended family members. Only 8-10 min into Paso Robles. Great location for wineries and golf. We spent a day at the lake 25 min away. 35 min to the coast. Great Family Place to Gather
" Peace of Mind " was the perfect get away for me and my 3 adult children for the Thanksgiving holiday. The home is a large " ranch style" with plenty of space for everyone to hang out comfortably.
We were greeted at the front door with a lovely seasonal wreath and there were seasonal items inside also to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
I could not have asked for a better kitchen for cooking for Thanksgiving. It was very large and was well equipped with all the pots , pans, glasses, and cooking utensils you would need. it also came with a great Keurig coffee machine with pods.
The bathrooms were modern and the whole house very clean and inviting. The decor is traditional leaning towards country ...not exactly my taste but certainly appropriate for Paso Robles.
The location is right off the Hwy 101 so very easy access to all activities. Downtown a mere 10-15 minutes.
It was fun to watch the horses run on the adjacent property.
There was a small issue with the fireplace but when I called a maintenance guy came over right away to make it work.
