The main ranch house brings deluxe style and amenities with an emphasis on classic California vintage style with stunning views. Walk through the vineyard or relax in the covered outdoor sitting area and welcome the day with your morning Keurig coffee. Watch the sunrise over the distant hills toward town and listen to hawks and vultures soaring above. And gather again with your wine finds and watch our exquisite sunsets to the west. The main house offers four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, large kitchen, multiple sitting areas, indoor and outdoor dining, streaming TV apps, and a master bedroom suite. Two interior wood-burning fireplaces with wood supplied for your stay.
Carriage House is an impressive conversion from farm vehicle shed to a modern, light-filled studio offers a vaulted wood ceiling, original concrete floor, king designer bed outfitted in all white, luxury linens, oversized walk-in shower, modern tub, complete kitchen, indoor gas fireplace, ultra-quiet split-system AC/Heating, WIFI, ceiling fan, 50” flatscreen with cable service, along with total privacy and set on a gated 65-acre ranch and vineyard. Outside you’ll enjoy your own covered patio with Adirondacks, a gas fire pit table, BBQ, corn hole game, twinkle lights and spectacular sunset views over the vineyard and hillsides. Private Ranch with Vineyard Views!
We loved staying at Cocavin Ranch! It was vintage-rustic & so quiet & peaceful, and in the best location to visit wineries. The private ranch site is beautiful with views of vineyards & oak forests everywhere. At night we used our iPhone app to identify stars, planets & constellations as the sky was so brilliant! We appreciated the wood burning fireplaces, the outdoor terrace, the fountain & especially the wide-open forever views across miles of rolling hills & beyond. The separate, modern Carriage House was perfect for us celebrating our Anniversary. We felt special in our walk-in shower, open tub & outdoor Firepit overlooking the vineyards. Amazing place! My husband and I were looking for a small place to stay for a long weekend as we were in town for the Halter Ranch Summer Bridge Dinner. This small, converted carriage house was perfect. It was situated within vineyard with an unaffiliated tasting room on the property. It was small but had just about everything we could want. Stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, lovely shower, and several places outside to sit and watch the grapes grow.
The only thing it could have used was a small closet or chest of drawers so as not to be living entirely out of a suitcase. But that's a minor nit. Otherwise it was absolutely wonderful. Would definitely stay again. - Lorin M., Tucson, AZ

My wife and I spent 3 romantic nights at Carriage House and LOVED IT! Property is better than the photos. Paso was 108 degrees mid day, but this modern studio was the prefect spot to stay cool between long winding drives and all the gorgeous wineries. Location near Daou was the best spot in Paso. Perfect Getaway!
This place is the perfect escape. We drove up from LA and stopped in to Trader Joe's for some tasty treats. We arrived at the carriage house, unloaded our groceries, and then the relaxing began. I soaked in the tub and enjoyed the view. We walked over to Lone Madrone for a tasting. It's literally a so close but far enough away. They were lovely and the wine was nice. We stayed in the rest of the time and cooked in the kitchen and enjoyed the firepit. We walked the vineyard and found a tree swing. That swing was so much fun! This is a great place to stay. A Romantic Getaway

Perfect for a Short Stay
Overall we were pleased with the carriage house. It was a bit smaller than we anticipated though we made it work. There is no closet or chest of drawers which made it less than ideal for a longer stay. We did find that the water would turn off suddenly for a few minutes at a time which was a minor inconvenience. A secret blissful little cottage amid the vines
We love love love Paso Robles and come here to vacation often. Recently, we realized enjoy making breakfast and spending time at our lodging but you can't make breakfast in a hotel room so when we discovered this little cottage, it was a dream come true. It has everything you need for a few days of major R&R, peace and quiet, lots of hang out spots inside and out, very very secluded and private - just perfect. We celebrated my birthday and since the spot was too cool, we ended up spending two whole days enjoying the cottage, sitting by the firepit, reading on the day beds, relaxing on the super comfortable bed, cooking up all the meals in the kitchenette and my most favorite - a fancy bubble bath to relax the night away. The cottage has everything you need with all the comforts of your own home and more.
I especially loved the fancy champagne flutes which made for a very special clink clink on my little birthday festivities at the cottage with my husband. It was just lovely and we can't wait to come back! - Georgiya Y., San Jose, CA

Great Air BnB in Paso Robles
Amazing location right behind Lane Madrone winery. You have an amazing view from your private guesthouse and patio. Private secure parking provided. Access to the winery incl with free tasting and a bottle of wine incl. located close to everything and far enough way to be totally private. Great bath tub and shower. Nicely upgraded through out. Every aspect of your stay was well thought out. Paso Robles is beautiful and so many great places to explore. Justin winery and restaurant were awesome. A must stop for all especially if you like big Reds.
Super host was easy to work with. Highly recommend and will defiantly return.

Perfect Romantic Escape
My husband and I spent four nights at the Carriage House to celebrate his birthday. It was the PERFECT setting and space to relax, unwind, and recharge.
We checked in as a major rainstorm was moving into the area, the same one we outran leaving the Bay Area that very morning. We immediately went to light the fireplace as it was the perfect way to end the drive but sadly the fireplace didn't work. After a quick call to the management company (Cyndi, you rock!) they had Anthony, their maintenance team member, on his way. Anthony was awesome! He quickly diagnosed the problem and saved the day. Fire was roaring!
The space is very well thought out, beautifully furnished, and fully stocked with everything you would need. After a day of exploring and wine tasting, it was great to return to this modern, yet warm space to watch the sun go down and the day draw to a close. We utilized just about every amenity including the lawn chairs, firepit, and of course the complimentary wine tasting next door at Lone Madrone. We travel extensively and this property ranks highly on our list of places to return. They have done an incredible job with this property and we truly felt spoiled from our stay. Lovely Cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay in Paso. It was our first time out there. The cottage was EXACTLY what we wanted for our romantic weekend. Cindy went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The kitchen has everything I needed for coffee and breakfast. The cottage has really good wifi connection and you can jam to really good music while getting ready. I am also an airbnb host and I really appreciated the details in the cottage. Tranquil oasis with a view...
Booking, payment, rental contract, directions, and keypad instructions were perfectly clear. We arrived to find the owners in town - it didn't really matter to me, but my plan was not to come and necessarily spend time with others on the property.
Little did I know what an amazing and special experience our stay was after talking with the owners. Since they are property owners of the tasting room next door, our stay came with 2 tastings and a bottle of wine from Lone Madrone. She walked with us to the tasting room to introduce us to the winery and give us a tour of the facility (it is always fun having a connection at tasting rooms). But the highlight of the trip was the owner driving us around the estate with panoramic views everywhere you look. She also brought a bottle of wine and snacks to share under a mature oak tree at the top of one of the many hills. What an unexpected treat.
I guess others might also want to know that the unit was immaculate, sunrise views from the bed, and had modern amenities with great linens, soaps, etc... and the fire-pit shown in the ad was a great spot to hoist a glass, chat and dine.
Since it is always important to provide a balanced review, the only downside for some would be the fact that it is about 7 miles from downtown Paso. It is exactly what we wanted, but others might like to be closer. - Andrew B., Palm Springs, CA

Beautiful vineyard escape
This place was heaven and so peaceful. The view from the patio area was just stunning. If you want to be in the middle of a vineyard, you can't get a better location than this in Paso Robles. The place was clean, extremely well decorated, and just cozy. We took UberWine one day and wine tasted during the day, and we ended it at Lone Madrone, next door. Great location near some of the best vineyards in the area (Daou and Justin among our favorites). The Cocavin Carriage House is just as pictured - modern, clean, comfortable (the bed especially!), and is perfectly sized for a couple. The tub in the kitchen went unused - I suppose for honeymooners that would be a nice touch, but the space might have been alternatively serviced with a small loveseat or another armchair for sitting (just a suggestion). Our stay at the Cocavin Carriage House was magical. The property sits in the middle of the most picturesque and serene vineyards one can imagine. We felt like we were in a land far, far away. The home is clean, cozy, private and peaceful, and was the perfect escape from our busy schedules. It provided all the comforts we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen, a lovely patio with fire-pit, and a very comfortable bed. We literally did nothing everyday but stay on site enjoying the beautiful views of the vineyards, the melodic sounds of the chirping birds, and the splendid wines of the region. The short walk to the Lone Madrone Winery, and complimentary wine tasting was a special treat that we took advantage of. I only wish we could stay longer. Vineyard Getaway
We enjoyed our stay at Cocavin. Quiet, private, beautiful setting. The rental was clean, well designed and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the firepit and walk to view sunset over the vineyards. Also great wine next door at Lone Madrone too. Perfect retreat!
Our first time in Paso Robles. We wanted to stay on a property right in wine country with the possibility to explore the area. The carriage house turned out to be ideal for that. Beautiful setting and location. The associated Lone Madrone winery mere steps away offered a free wine tasting and free bottle of wine. Here I found the white wines to be of particular note. The Adelaida winery is also within walking distance and offers many wonderful wines. A few minutes drive away is the Daou winery which offers perhaps the most beautiful views in all of Paso Robles. Le Cuvier winery was highly recommended by many, a few more minutes down the road and comes with wonderful food-wine pairings. Highly recommend Cocavin Carriage House!
We spent a wonderful week in Paso Robles in November & are so glad we chose Cocavin Carriage House as our home for the week! Although it’s a bit of a drive from Downtown, the quiet countryside setting was perfect for us. The interior is so nice & very comfortable. We loved the fireplace & the natural light! In the mornings, however, we wished there were blackout ’s pretty bright. It was great having a full kitchen, large shower & comfortable bed. We would definitely like to stay there again! A couple minor suggestions: be prepared to wait for the hot water. It takes a long while to heat up. Also, it would be appreciated to have a specific list of the TV channels next time. Perfect Vineyard Cottage Getaway
My husband and I recently stayed at Cocavin and had an absolutely wonderful time. The cottage is exactly as it looks in the photos and the surrounding property is even more beautiful than shown. It was clean, well stocked, and the bed and sheets were extremely comfortable. We loved having the fireplace on too. We visited Lone Madrone on our last night and wish we had gone sooner. It is such a cool spot and we could have hung out there for hours! We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic getaway. It is about 13-15 min outside of town so just keep that in mind.
