Description
Blue Oak Ranch is tucked away, up a country road, away from the hustle and bustle of life. The home sits on 40 acres of Blue Oak forest. Not far from some of Paso Robles finest wineries, J Dusi, Shale Oak, Niner, Brecon, Denner and Opolo to name a few!! You can spend your day wine tasting and exploring the central coast, then come home to a comfy space that is quiet, serene and surrounded by nature. Guests may see wildlife such as deer, raccoons, squirrels, eagles, owls, hawks, and hummingbirds. This is after all, a country home and haven to mother nature. If you do want to pop in for dinner somewhere, Paso Robles or Templeton are 15 minutes away. This eclectic one bedroom home is all you need to shake the too busy blues. The kitchen is well stocked to create a memorable meal indoors or BBQ outdoors on the deck. Enjoy the outdoor gas fireplace and a soak in the spa, all while the stars are shining down!

Reviews
Paso getaway
Quiet location. As other reviews indicate it is far away from downtown but very close to local good wineries. One thing I would note is the last 3/4 mile to the location is an unpaved, non maintained road. We have a higher vehicle clearance so not a big deal but lower sitting cars make scrape coming up and down the road in spots. With that said very beautiful and serene views when doing some trail walks. Cottage is decent size and bathroom is somewhat updated. Kitchen decent size. Definitely nice for 2. Overall would return for quietness and location if that is what you like. - Joseph O., Sacramento, CA

Relaxing Adventure Base Camp With All The Privacy!
We wanted something private. Very private. This was the place! It's 20-30 minute drive to Paso or Templeton. 30-45 minutes to several places on the coast. This was the ideal base camp to go out for the day adventuring and yet come back and relax away from everyone! - Michael A., Acton, CA

Great Location, House Long in the Tooth
Loved the seclusion and hot tub. Very old-school interior with furniture that needs to be updated and a bad mattress. Kitchen adequately stocked, but almost no water pressure there or in bathroom. Rental company extremely responsive. Not so much rustic: just aged out. - Jon S., Culver City, CA

Rustic Rental
Overall pretty nice stay. Fully stocked rental. Quirky layout but it worked. Only negatives were very low water pressure and a mile up a narrow dirt road. Property managers were helpful - Anonymous, CHINO, CA

Secluded Getaway
My husband and I were seeking a secluded hideaway rental with a spa for our weekend trip without kids. The property sits on multiple acres, so this rental did not disappoint. The home is charming for a couple and had all the amenities described, including a great indoor/outdoor speaker system. The home is about a 10 minute drive to Hwy 46 and had multiple wineries nearby. You should know that the last section of the drive to the property is a country dirt road, so be sure to arrive at the home before nightfall to ensure you don't get lost. While we didn't use a rideshare service during this trip, the location may have been difficult for a rideshare pickup.
We enjoy creating new experiences when we travel, so we never stay at the same location twice. We are already planning our next weekend getaway and this property will be the exception!
