Come and delight in the privacy of this quiet cul de sac, with your own private wooded world filled with bird song and gentle breezes. Pet friendly with kennel on back patio. Off-street parking is available in the driveway and an additional single pullout.

Weekend getaway in Paso
Our vacation rental was perfect for our group of 5. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and saw numerous deer each morning. We even were able to walk to downtown Paso for dinner. What a setting! I could sit on the back deck for days. We even had an owl sit in the tree next to us. The kitchen was functional and well-stocked. Everything was sparkling clean. We did not have the water pressure issues others have mentioned. Very happy with our choice to stay here. A quiet cul de sac perched on a hill yet close to everything. We tasted wine all day and enjoyed the large backyard/deck at night. While it’s only a mile from downtown, it is on a fairly steep hill, so while it’s is probably walkable for some, we didn’t attempt it. Super cute house. The first couple hours were not pleasant at all. After telling the representative that I would be bringing my car in a trailer and she said it would be fine. That wasn't the case because a neighbor complained and a guy from the rental place came out and hung out for 45 minutes until he finally said they would let it slide. What a lovely setting for a Paso getaway. Quiet, with a view. And deer in the yard, morning and night! Master suite is great. Common areas great. Kitchen well appointed. Shared bathroom for other bedrooms lacks space for personal effects and would be tough to share. Crosses are decorations in guest bath. Guest beds a bit soft. We had rented for a group of six but two had to cancel at the last minute. It would have been a tough share for 3 couples. Maybe better for a family rental? Property management team is terrific. Beautiful, but...
So for the positives, Western Woodland is in an absolutely BEAUTIFUL place. Serene and gorgeous, set on a hillside with old growth trees, deer and wild birds all around. There's a wonderful little deck with a table and chairs that jut out onto the tree-lined hillside... perfect for relaxing dinners or morning coffee. The outdoor grill was great for our steaks, and the beds were very comfortable... not too hard and not to soft. On the other side of the coin, the water pressure was absolutely awful, almost like trying to shower in an RV. I ended up putting water in the tub just so I could rinse my hair. Those in the master bathroom didn't have that option, with a "rain" shower that was more like a drizzle. Things even came out of the dishwasher still dirty. The walls were thin, so it was very difficult for anyone to sleep once others were up, and the kitchen had basically just the bare essentials. That said, I think the setting was amazing enough to make the rest worth tolerating, and I find myself missing the place already. :) - Rose C., Hollywood, CA

This home was in an excellent location for our wedding activities. Very nice home overall. Beautiful yard. There are a few things that still need to be updated in the house - electrical outlets & carpet in bedrooms and a broken closet door in bedroom. Spiders and spider webs, pet hair on furniture and bedding. Found a pair of leggings behind a trunk in the bedroom. Stains on some of the bedding. Very nice vacation home
We rented this house for a long weekend. We have four dogs and needed a dog friendly home. The house was very nice, backyard was great for dogs, fully enclosed so dogs could run around. The layout of the house worked well for us. The den area worked well for our family group. Kitchen was well equipped with all items needed. Most of the time, we were outside in the backyard with dogs and enjoying the great view from the deck.
The only comment I would make is that though the house was clean, the backyard needed good cleaning when we got there, but not a big deal.

Private Getaway in the Hills
I stayed at the Western Woodland with a few of my girlfriends for a quick weekend getaway. The location of the house was spectacular. Only 1 mile from downtown, and plenty of space for our needs. My only complaint was that the bathroom trash cans were not emptied out, and the bed sheets weren't 100% clean. Finding hairs that are clearly NOT your own in the sheets was not ideal. These little details are what's preventing me from giving a '5' for satisfaction.

Great backyard and pet friendly!
Three couples and 2 dogs enjoyed the long Memorial Day weekend at Western Woodland. It is tough to find a place with 3 beds (all queen-size or larger), 2 full bathrooms, and is pet friendly. Western Woodland fit our needs perfectly. The house is roomy and had all that we needed as far as furniture and in the kitchen. The backyard space is great for people and dogs! A couple of minor items...the coffee maker did not work, some things (particularly light fixtures) could have been cleaner, some niceties in bathrooms (more hand towels and tissues)...would have been good, but this is a great place to stay and we would definitely return. Location is good, although for all you bicyclists, it is at the top of 2 steep hills! The hills are short though, so you can always walk. - Anonymous, Azusa, CA

Western Woodland feels like Home
Our group of three travelled from Toronto and we stayed at Western Woodland for 10 days. We thought the location was great - felt very woodsy indeed and deer regularly appeared on the street to welcome us. The biggest challenge with Paso, is the lack of streetlights. If we walked into town for dinner, we were walking back using our cell phone lights. Not PRVR's problem, but worthy of a discussion at city council....even corner lights would help the city feel safer and more walkable at night. The house had all the creature comforts we were looking for and the kitchen is very well stocked. I think a few more instructions would have helped - fireplaces, bbq, garbage disposal practices/pickup schedule. Also, there were a number of things that didn't quite work....bbq tank was empty, fan in master bedroom was so loud couldn't be used, burners didn't work, toilet paper holder fell out of wall - same with towel holder, low to no water pressure in lovely master shower. These are little things that can easily be fixed, but I guess our assumption was they should be fixed before guests arrive. PRVR responded quickly to the bbq problem and was wonderfully efficient at helping us book our visit. Plus, the home was very clean, which is key. We'd stay at WW again in a heartbeat, but thought providing a checklist for owners to address is important. Loved Paso and will be back for sure!!!! - Debbie G., East Toronto (The Danforth East), ON

Great location. Nice house for a weekend stay. Beautiful kitchen. View would be so much better if some branches were trimmed. View is blocked. Master shower doesn't drain well. Be careful with barbeque. It hasn't been cleaned or maintained properly and will catch on fire. Dirt and dust under master bed. But overall it is a decent place to stay. Great Location, Great Place!
Stayed at the property for 6 days in the spring time. Brought along my family and small dog. The property management was exceptional - they made sure to call me directly a few times before my stay to make sure I didn't need anything or had any questions about check in. We arrived in Paso a few hours earlier than our check-in time (3pm). So I called Paso Robles Vacation Rentals and they quickly and easily gave me an early check in at no cost. It was a VERY nice customer service experience.
The place was perfect. Clean, close to town, quiet and safe. The only actual "complaint" I had would be with the Kurig. The house had one but no Kurig coffee cups provided, which I get but it would have been a nice touch.

Birthday weekend in wine country
We enjoyed our stay at this home as the three of us each got our own bedroom. Also the yard was perfect and safe for our two dogs. The location to town was great and only a half hour to a beautiful dog beach beach in Morro Bay. The views from the backyard were awesome. - Anonymous, Penn Valley, CA

Great Weekend Stay
We were finally able to take a small vacation and times it right with tasting rooms reopening. A nice downhill walk to downtown to check out restaurants and wineries. Very nice outdoor areas with views. Property management was extremely helpful and nice.
