Literally right on the Paso Wine Trail, we welcome you to notable, world class wineries just steps outside your front door. Downtown Paso Robles, with all its fabulous restaurants and shopping, is an easy 5-minute drive away. Head west and you will be watching waves at the coast in under 30 minutes. This impeccably appointed guest house attached to the main home offers serenity, privacy, and everything you need, whether your visit is a fun weekend road trip or a longer “home away from home” stay. Walnut hill is a 1200 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath guest house with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, spacious dining room and living room, washer and dryer, and expansive views of the neighboring vineyards. Both bedrooms (one king bed, one queen bed) have their own ensuite private bathrooms and walk-in closets. Find an additional charming powder room off the living room area for your convenience. Luxurious linens and towels are waiting to embrace you in comfort. The east-facing front porch and lawn are the perfect spots for warm morning coffee and shady afternoon drinks. Giant oaks, walnut trees, and olive trees line the property and create a playground for our resident squirrels, deer, and a variety of birds. A dedicated driveway takes you directly to the guest house and offers convenient, safe, private parking. Watch for the colorful barrel that marks the turnoff into the brand new, fully paved driveway! Perfect Paso
It’s very rare when the pictures of a property don’t do it justice. This property is absolutely perfect! The location, decor, attention to detail make this stay one of the best I’ve ever rented. Our family had a wonderful time in Paso Robles, and the Walnut Hill property was perfect! Beautiful, fully equipped home with lots of privacy, yet close to everything. Wonderful house for 2 couples!
Great location. Super clean and very well stocked (coffee, creamer, tide pods, etc.), although since we were there for the weekend we didn't need to use anything. Looked like it was just renovated but I think they just take pride in their home and keep it super clean. I would definitely stay there again!
It rained while we were there so unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the front yard view. Check in and check out access was super easy. They even have a computerized information screen in the dining room!
My only recommendations to make this an even better experience would be to sweep the entry walkway before guests arrive, as there were a ton of leaves, and assess the heating system in the left bedroom/bathroom as it remained very cold through the night. Walnut Hill is a perfect retreat. Close drive to downtown but nestled uphill with picturesque views and peaceful quiet. Molly was gracious and welcoming. Perfect for a wine tasting getaway with friends
Walnut Hill was a perfect place for a wine tasting trip in Paso Robles for two couples. The location just off of 46 West and the 101 was great and the view from the front porch overlooking vineyards and the surrounding area was breathtaking. Inside, all of the amenities you could ask for were provided and everything was nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. We arrived to a nice welcome basket of wine and chocolates and were impressed at the comfortable space for sitting, eating, and sleeping. The separate en suite bathrooms were a welcome benefit over so many places with a shared bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped to cook some of your own meals. The gas grill outside allowed us to grill some steaks for dinner one night. Access to the house is easy and secure, and working with Paso Robles Vacation Rentals was a breeze. Communications was great and the check-in and check-out process could all be done through an app or using the information display in the house. We did have a chance to meet the owner, Molly, and she was extremely helpful and friendly. We will not hesitate to visit Walnut Hill the next time we are in Paso Robles. - Michael B., Phoenix, AZ

Staying at Walnut Hill was one of the best mini-vacations we've had. The location was perfect. The property description was exactly what we found when we arrived. The house is very well appointed with everything you will need from towels, linens, to cooking appliances, pots, dishes, even spices! The decor was beautiful. The house was clean. Molly was super sweet. Dealing with Paso Robles Vacation Rentals was easy and convenient. The only "noise" was that of the birds and squirrels and the clinking of glasses! Great location on a quiet hill with a view of vineyards. The house was very clean and nicely renovated. The owner greeted us and offered assistance but we were happy to be left alone. It was well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils and appliances. We enjoyed biking the backroads, golfing and visiting wineries. We stayed a week in mid-Jan. and hope to be back next year. A relaxing and exploratory visit to Paso
The home was extremely clean and the kitchen was large! It was one of the best equipped kitchens in a rental home I’ve ever experienced! The 2 master suites were comfortable with brand new bathrooms including a great shower head in both. Water pressure was strong and the bathroom had plenary of extra towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and a hairdryer. The beds were comfortable yet this can be personal! We loved the King and our friends found the Queen comfortable, too. The living room area had 3 chairs and a sofa with lighting and a coffee table. Comfortable but wish there were a larger rug to make the space feel “warmer”! Not a big deal! The location was a short drive to town, with expansive views facings east. Something that could bother some is the location to Hwy 46 and the background hum of traffic while you sit outside on the front lawn area or the porch. Again, not something that will bother everyone! It was an excellent home base for wine tasting in Willow Creek and Adelaida, and just a short drive to downtown Paso Robles. The bed in the master bedroom should be replaced and the gravel driveway climbing up from the street to the house needs to be regraded, but the property itself was great. Great house for 2 couples
Walnut Hill is an updated home with nice touches. The kitchen well stocked, nice bathrooms with plush towels and great views out the front porch. The location is close to downtown and the wineries. You can't walk to any of them, but most everything is a short drive. The only issue was that one of our cars, which was front wheel drive could not get up the gravel driveway. Not a big deal as the owner allowed us to park that car in her paved driveway next door. We will look to book again when back in Paso. - Ted M., San Jose, CA

Wonderful Walnut Hill Wine Stay
Delightful accommodations for our wine tasting trip. Perfect size for 2 couples. We each had our own bedroom and bath. The house was very clean and decorated nicely. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed to cook in one night. Loved the views of vineyards all around. You would never know this house is attached to the main house. This was our first experience with AirBnB and it was wonderful! We often travel with another couple but usually rent 2 hotel rooms. This property offered two ensuite bathrooms so each couple had their own space and the property is so well insulated that we could not hear the other couple that was sharing the place with us. The kitchen is well equipped which allowed us the option of have a couple of meals in rather than going out for every meal. The onsite owner made herself available to make sure we had all we needed but did not invade our privacy.
The only issue we experienced was the private driveway - it is best suited for a 4 wheel drive vehicle. However the owner allowed us to park in her driveway which is a short walk from the vacation rental. - Deborah F., ,

Lovely property with a few kinks to be worked out
This is a lovely property with great views in an excellent location. We enjoyed being close to the downtown square while also removed at the same time. It was very clean, and check-in/out ran smoothly. The property, however, has a few key pitfalls that we’d suggest correcting before fully recommending. The driveway is in no condition for a regular car to go up, as it is very steep and has loose gravel. This was a major oversight, and had wr not brought a second vehicle (pickup truck), we would have never been able to go up and down it every day. The second bedroom is falsely advertised as having a Queen bed - it was a Full, which makes a surprisingly big difference when you have two people sharing it. The management company remains adamant it is a Queen, but that simply is not true. And the living room could stand to have some more furniture that is comfortable and can accommodate the 4 guest limit. - Matt R., San Francisco, CA

Delightful home for 2 couples
We had a wonderful time enjoying our stay at Walnut Hill. The location is perfect. Close to J. Dusi, Four Lanterns and Peachy Canyon. Molly, the owner lives next door is delightful. The beds are super comfortable and the attention to detail is seen throughout. There is a washer and dryer, a gas stove and bbq. This property was even better than the pictures.Every item you could think to use was available. Decor was warm and inviting. Check in and out was a breeze. We were close to many wineries, downtown, restaurants and shopping center. Cambria and San Luis Obisbpo are both short, beautiful drives away. Beautiful little Gem in Paso
This property is a little gem. As soon as you step in this little house, you feel at home. Inviting decor, comfy beds, soft towels, well stocked kitchen and beautiful views all around. Walnut Hill has everything for an extended and work-remote stay. The apartment is most tastefully furnished and equipped at the highest standards. High-speed internet, a kitchen as well equipped as the one you have at home, comfy beds, linens, and sofas - you'll instantly feel at home. The best feature is the views of the vineyards from the patio and lawn and the wildlife that one can witness throughout the day. The beautiful and tranquil scenery and proximity to world-class wineries as well as shops are unbeatable. I would not do this review justice without mentioning our most wonderful host Molly. Making her acquaintance has been a highlight of our visit, and her wealth of knowledge has enabled us to take advantage of everything the area has to offer.
