A 20-mile panoramic vista of the Estrella and Salinas river valley wineries await you in this beautiful Paso Robles Wine Region home and has been the backdrop to many perfect Paso Robles vacation getaways. Start your day with out on the patio, watching for quail and deer, or hummingbirds approaching the feeders. This hilltop, private, countryside retreat is located on the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail and is the perfect private getaway after a long day exploring neighboring wineries of Villa San-Julliette and SilverHorse. You will even find Cinquain Cellars and Bon Niche Cellars right in the neighborhood, plus olive oil tasting at Terrace Hill. The three-bedroom/two bath, fully furnished 1600 square foot rental is perfect for a small family, couples, girl's weekend out, or bridal party (it can accommodate 8). Beautiful furnishings, bedding and decor make this a lovely home for any guest. TVs in both the living room and master bedroom, enjoy streaming apps only! The home is also available for weekly or monthly accommodations. Perfect home for a relaxing stay
We reserved this beautiful, well maintained and spotless home for 3 nights as my son was getting married in San Miguel; just minutes away from the venue.
The home was immaculately clean, that speaks volumes for any Airbnb property rental. The home offered keurig coffee and sweeteners along with seasonings and oil for cooking. We took advantage of this and cooked breakfast to save time as the closest eateries were 30 minutes away.
Communication from the management company was excellent as they sent us reminders about our upcoming trip with clear instructions and details about the house and its location.
The outdoor space is lovely and includes a long table in the back that seats 8, and a bistro table for 2 at one end of the backyard . I enjoyed the view while sipping my morning coffee.
Keep in mind that the area consists of twisting unpaved roads, so don’t bring your Tesla here if rocks and dust are a problem for you :). Drive slowly and enjoy the rolling hill views while also protecting the small creatures that call it home. You’ll see many chipmunks, skunks and cottontail rabbits using the roads, please look out for them. If you’re in a hurry, I recommend you stay in downtown Paso Robles or Cambria where the roads are paved .

A few issues gave us pause...
We love this property so I hesitate to write a poor review, but the visit last month was not as expected. When we arrived at 6 PM, there was no water. Property Management sent someone out to address this - but water situation was not fixed until almost 10 OM - so cooking plans for dinner were out. The internet service worked but we never did get the TV to work properly - just confusing and 2 of the 6 of us are technology proficient - but couldn't figure it out. Normally don't care about TV, but in this case we missed the ball drop in Times Square AND the Rose Bowl Parade which was a bummer. Our stay at Vista Vine Cottage couldn't have been better!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hilltop home. So quiet, no city lights, no cars passing by - just what we wanted for our getaway in wine country. The home is well furnished with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The moonrise as we looked East a couple of nights was spectacular. The surrounding ranches as you approach the house on Lazy Hill Road are small working ranches with some horses, cows, olive groves and grape vines - so you out in the country, but still only about a twenty minute drive to Paso Robles. Looking forward to booking this home again.

Our stay at Vista Vine Cottage was fabulous. Leah was an absolute gem to work with. The home felt like we were at home, not in a rental. The interior and exterior were clean and well maintained. The house is much better looking than the photos- I walked in and my first words were, "OMG, this is beautiful!" The yard is also much bigger than it looks in the photos. The location is definitely 15-30 mins from any food so bring things to cook! And head to downtown Paso... "downtown" San Miguel is kinda ehhh. Absolutely love this home.
This home was VERY clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Bedrooms were well sized with comfortable beds.
We spent both our mornings and evenings on the back patio either drinking coffee or BBQing and enjoying the amazing view. The patio was set up with with a large table with lots of seating and a daybed with a hammoc feel that made it hard to leave. The home didn't have close neighboring houses so felt very private. The property manager was easy to reach with questions and extremely helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. Rented Vista Vine Cottage since it was mid-way between LA and San Francisco for a short family vacation. I have used PRVR in the past and felt confident that the property would be great! Once again I was not disappointed. The views from the property were beautiful. A Quiet in the Country Experience
We have been staying in beautiful vacation homes in California for the past 1 1/2 years. From LA to the Palm Springs area. We were ready to move to the country and we found it in this home and location. We also have 2 dogs so and enclosed yard was a consideration as well. This home is perfect for us. Very comfortable and spacious with all the amenities anyone would require for a short or extended stay.
You should consider it is in the country, about 15 miles from Paso Robles, with a stretch of gravel road but the drive is beautiful through the rolling hills and vineyards. It's certainly worth it when you look up at the sky at night and the stars appear to be so close you could almost touch them.
One final comment about Paso Robles. It's a wonderful town with shops, a town square, and almost 100 restaurants with such a variety of foods.

We were very pleased with our 5 day stay at Vista Vine Cottage. Sure it's a little bit off the beaten path but we were looking for exactly that to escape city life. The grounds were peaceful but expansive and perfect for our two dogs to chase balls and our toddler to collect twigs and rocks. The views and stars at night make this place an exceptional site. Inside all the beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was superbly stocked down to after dinner drink specialty glasses! We were 2 couples, spending 2 nights at Vista Vine Cottage. The home was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed BBqing on the patio with wonderful views. Great Family Weekend
Our visit to Vista Vine Cottage more than exceeded our expectations! The home was extremely clean, well stocked with kitchen goods; yard and inside games; videos and books; and anything else that one could want. We were a little concerned on the drive in, glad we had GPS - but when we drove up the driveway, our concerns vanished. Beautiful views! We loved the mornings sitting out on the patio watching the birds and listening to the beautiful sounds of the early morning while having our coffee. Great place to stay!
That goodness for GPS. You feel like you are driving into the unknown. But once you arrive its a great location to escape the everyday life. We had an excellent time, the living room was great for socializing, the porch gives amazing views. The bedrooms were beautiful and beds very comfortable.

Great House in Remote Location
Vista Vine Cottage is a wonderful vacation rental- it is squeaky clean, with high end linens on the beds, has a wonderful flow to the interior and exterior space and is in a remote area- very private but only 15 minutes to the Paso wineries and 40 min to the coast.
