Great Stay

What a great home and location! We were unfortunately traveling to Paso during some bad weather. The heavy rains put a damper on some of our plans and we ended up having to stay in a lot more than we wished. The house was perfectly comfortable and suited our group. Cozy Cottage

This property met all our needs. We were 7 adults and we all very comfortable in the space and Were pleasantly surprised it was more spacious than it seemed in the pictures. What you see is what you get. The property is well maintained but my only suggestion is to trim the bushes along side the driveway to the left of the house. Enjoyed Our Visit

We enjoyed our stay at Vin Rouge 51. Very convenient location. We were a group of 7 people and the bathrooms aren't laid out perfectly for a group of that size because one of the bathrooms is inside of one of the rooms. As a result, 5 of us had to share one bathroom. This worked out fine, but definitely something to think about if you are a larger group. Many of the doors need some Wd-40 attention as they are quite loud in the middle of the night. Beyond that, it was a great place to stay and we'd stay there again. - Anonymous, Bellevue, WA

Paso Paradise

Vin Rouge 51 was very comfortable and perfect for our group. We had a great time walking the neighborhood and checking out the deer every where(despite every other house having a NO VRBO sign in the yard). One of my friends stayed in the room next to the garage and he was pretty cold because there is no heat vents down there but other than that everything was top notch. Absolutely wonderful!!

We could not have been any more pleased with our choice to rent this property!!! We had 7 people total and it was perfect for us. Close to downtown but really not walkable. The house is well maintained and clean. My only two minor nitpick issues would be neighbors who put up anti-vacation rental signs and that even though there is onsite parking, one driveway is extremely narrow, especially for larger cars. This isn’t for publication, but is intended as feedback for the managers of the property: Vin Rouge was lovely, and we had very few complaints. Things were comfortable, orderly and clean. I have 2 observations: 1) The bathroom rugs were quite grubby, tossing them in the wash between each renter would fix this easily. 2) More easily accessible blankets would be good. Great place to stay if you need to be near town

Visited Paso at the end of May for the Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Festival. We were looking for a place to stay where we could walk to the event and not have to worry about driving. We were very glad we found Vin Rouge. It was a quick 20 minute walk into town, so fit our needs perfectly.

There were 6 of us, ample space for sleeping accommodations. We spent the majority of our time on the deck which was fabulous. Grilled while we were there. Kitchen had ample supplies. Beds were good, only complaint is the downstairs converted bedroom which needs a curtain or shade to block the sun that blasts through at sunrise. Made for early mornings.

I would definitely consider returning here for another trip to Firestone Beer Festival or any other occasion. Nice and secluded.

Short Stay in Paso

The property listing is a bit confusing: it is really a 3 bedroom but has the capability of accommodating a 4th bedroom with limited privacy in the 4th room. It is actually a family room with twin beds at one end and can be closed off from the kitchen with a sliding door. The 3rd bedroom was clearly an add-on and I would say was probably used as a studio/study. It has beautiful picture windows but no coverings! For some people this is a little too much: I would suggest adding some type of window coverings to this room. Having said all of the above, it was a very pleasant house with upgrades everywhere to make a very enjoyable environment. It has an awesome deck which would be fabulous on a summer evening! It appeared to be very quiet at night time too. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. A great kitchen with pretty much everything you would want if you were to prepare your own meals. It is not really within walking distance of downtown, but is an easy, quick drive. I do have one complaint: I don't think we should have to place towels in washing machine or start it as well as the dishwasher. We paid a competitive price for the property which I think should afford us the luxury of not having to do any of this type of cleaning up especially when there is an additional cleaning fee on top of the base price. I have no problem with tossing out the trash, however. I also believe that the cleaning fee should be a part of the nightly charge and not an add-on. Just my thoughts. - Anonymous, Camarillo, CA

Weekend In Paso Robles

The house was very clean in a quiet neighborhood close to the downtown shopping and dinning area. We were two couples with 2 teenagers. The house divides up well into two areas. I would recommend that the downstairs bedroom switch to a queen bed and have some window covering installed as it gets light very early. The kitchen was well equipped with nice glass ware, utensils and plates. The patio could have used an umbrella as it is very sunny. Nice house, a couple issues

We opted for an early check in. When we arrived, the hot water heater was not working so we called and someone came within an hour to address the issue. This was okay.
In general, the house was not as clean as we would have expected. There were food bits/crumbs found under the dining table and dust/debris in the corners.
Another thing to note is that the two rooms, one which seemed to have been converted from a garage and the loft room, have temperature issues. The lower room gets REALLY COLD, as though it is not insulated in the same way as the rest of the house. If you set the temperature so the people in that room can be comfortable, the loft room will become unbearably hot.

Sarah, We've read your input in depth and appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately, the gas company experienced a service outage and did not inform us, but I'm so glad we were able to respond quickly to the hot water heater issue and get that pilot light re-lit for you! We have completed a deep cleaning of the home and will try to make the extra heating unit in the lower room more obvious for guests. It is an installed unit used to heat just that room, to make up for the temperature differential. We hope to host you again in the near future through Paso Robles Vacation Rentals.

Cute cozy home

Overall stay was great. Loved the outdoor patio area and that there were two rooms on each side of the home. The only issue we had was the shower on the main floor wasn't draining properly we called the property manager to let them know but it wasn't a major problem. The only other thing was we thought this house was within walking distance to downtown which it could be if you don't mind walking down hill for about 15-20 minutes. Problem solved we called Uber. Charming Home - Great for a Group of Friends

House is pretty cute with four bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms sort of connect so would be good for parents and kids (not so good for couples).

We cooked b-fast in the kitchen which had all the basic supplies

There is an outdoor area with grill (which we didn't use) but its perfect for summer bbq-ing.

Nice house, reasonably priced

Overall I was happy with the house, it fit our group of six perfectly, had a nice deck with a BBQ, and was close to town. It's exactly as advertised, and although not as fancy and as other rentals in the area it was a good price and had everything we needed. Perfect place for us

The 7 of us were in town for a pickleball tournament. The house gave us enough room to spread out. We enjoyed cooking out and eating on the back patio. The house was just as advertised and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and safe.
The only small issue we had was with the wifi. It tended to come and go for no apparent reason.

Wonderful House, Wonderful Location

We loved this home

Our group of 5 stayed at the Paso Robles house for a week as we toured the wineries in the area. We fell in love with the area, the people and the wineries. The house, which is in a very quiet neighborhood, was very comfortable for us and we enjoyed hanging out on the deck in the enjoying our newly purchased wines. The downtown area was about a 15-minute walk from the house although it was quite hilly in some places. We also took a side trip to Pismo Beach, the elephant seals and Hearst Castle all of which were a reasonable amount of driving time to get to. With the warm days and cool evenings we had a bit of trouble regulating the thermostat for the heating/cooling in the house and some directions would have been helpful. It took a while for the hot water in the main shower to get there but once it arrived it was good. All in all we would highly recommend a stay at Vin Rouge 51 - Karen L., Burnsville, MN
