This place was perfect for a 2 week stay for work. Great location, close to everything. Nice having the seperate work area off the Bedroom. Only suggestion would be maybe small dressers in rooms, TV in rooms. Has a lovely outdoor area to sit at but could use a shade screen to be able to pull down in the afternoon as the sun sets in that direction and hard to sit out there with sun in eyes and heat. Top Shelf is Top Notch!
This place is terrific for a couples weekend in Paso! With it's two master suites, high quality beds and furnishings, and impeccable interior design, this rental was truly a delight for our weekend stay. The location is close enough to downtown Paso to be able to walk everywhere. The "invisible" host PRVR uses through the Hospitality App makes arrival and departure a breeze. Parking was in the lot behind the building, plus easy street parking on a side street was available, too. We were originally going to stay at the Marriott Courtyard, but wanted a bigger place for the kids to run around. Found this place at the last minute and was very happy. It is modern, clean, and convenient location (walking distant to downtown where all the restaurants are). The property management (Sandy) was extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay in this cute rental. The home is spacious and having the two ensuite rooms was perfect. The rooms are big with comfortable mattress and linens. Location is okay, close to downtown. My brother was staying in a hotel downdown and they would walk to our place for game nights and wine.The noise wasn't too bad and one of the bedrooms has a sitting area with a door that helped blocked the light and street noise at night. The Top Shelf apartment in Paso Robles is a gem. Be aware that since it is on a main road it can get noisy with street traffic. However, this place is clean, comfortable, well stocked, and very walkable to the main square. Newly renovated, clean, and well-equipped
This newly remodeled 2 bedroom with en-suite bathrooms was perfect for us and our friends. We are two couples traveling and touring the local Paso Robles vineyards. Parking is right behind the unit. There are some conveniences across the street such as a laundromat since the unit doesn’t have a stacked machine. That would be a nice addition in one of the closets. The kitchen is fully equipped and we cooked in one night. Bedding is comfortable and linens are fresh. There is some street noise but for the most part the unit is quiet. It is above the management office in a free standing building. Much better than a hotel room if you want to have some space and a kitchen. - June V., ,

Sweet Spot
This really was a sweet spot. Clean, comfortable, walkable, quiet and then there's the donuts (Twisted and Glazed). Buona Tavola is just a couple blocks away so don't miss it! Sensorio field of light is a quick 10 minute drive. And golf! Hunter Ranch is a great course with a very good restaurant. Top Shelf is perfect for two couples. PV Vacations has always been the place to rent from, always a pleasure to book with and properties have been great. This little gem was is perfect for 2 couples. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was stocked nicely and location was walkable to town. You can hear some traffic as it is located on the main street, but not a big deal. My mom and sister and I needed to get out of town for a little wine tasting. We stumbled upon this vacation rental and are so glad we did! Cute spot, nice and modern and newly remodeled. Great location and walking distance into downtown. They even dropped off a bottle of sparkling wine for my birthday :)

Adorable cottage with perfect amenities for 2 couples. Very clean & easy to work with the mgmt company. Great porch in the back. I knew the location was on a busy street but I didn't realize just how loud it would be from passing traffic, buses, motorcycles, etc. In regards to how close to downtown restaurants_ it's a solid 7 blocks which in heals is not great. Wonderful Get Away!
The property was perfect! So cute and good location. The only draw back was the noise from the street. It is located on a very busy street and both bedrooms are located on the street side. Nice place but
This was a nice place in many ways. It has a lot of positives which I will expand on but it also has one big negative and a few easily fixed negatives.
First the positives:
-The unit has been tastefully updated with a nice floor plan, bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The kitchen is nice with new appliances. There is a small office sitting room off one bedroom and then a comfortable living room. There is also a pleasant outdoor sitting area.
-The kitchen is well outfitted with all the necessary equipment.
-The bedrooms have king beds which we really appreciated. I don’t understand why more places don’t use king beds when they have room for them. The pillows were OK but not great.
-downtown is easily walkable for most people. One mile.
Then the easily fixed negatives:
-the beds need night tables on each side with bedside lamps. It is really not great for reading books at night or setting down glasses when there is nothing next to the bed.
-move the floor lamp from the bedroom to the living room. We ended up turning of the LR ceiling lights which are bright and left the kitchen lights on.
-The window in the front door and the window into bedroom both desperately need window coverings. This is annoying from a brightness point of view (very bright parking lot light shines in) but mainly from a exposure and safety issue. If I had been stay with girlfriends instead of my husband I would have had to put a sheet in the windows.
Then the one expensive negative:
It is noisy...for whatever reason the traffic on the road is loud. Trucks and cars, gearing up and down right up until 1 or 2 am and then starting again by 5 am with trash removal, work trucks cruising thru town...not sure. I have a white noise and ear plugs and still had issues. Perhaps the front facing windows need to be replaced with soundproof windows.

Pretty Top Shelf
Paso Robles Vacation Rentals assisted us with securing this property after another rental homeowner cancelled our reservation. Gratefully this was a worthy substitute. Sparkling clean, newly remodeled and complete with all the amenities. The common area is compact but works. The bedrooms are spacious and both the ensuite baths were well appointed and well lit. The property has made a couple of improvements suggested by previous guests; window treatments on the bedroom and beside tables (sort of on the bedside tables). Appreciated the thoughtful drawers in the bedframes and plenty of hangers in the closets. The kitchen is quite well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, and cooking utensils. Appliance new and worked well, we gave the kitchen a workout. There is a bit of road noise in one bedroom but it was tolerable. Bring some earplugs and an eye mask if you're sensitive for one of the bedrooms. In general our stay was very comfortable, even the small deck outside was surprisingly a nice cozy corner for an evening chat and wine. - Anonymous, Encino, CA

This two bedroom is well laid out and roomy for 4 people. Bedrooms are large with comfortable beds where each bedroom gets its own bathroom. the kitchen was well stocked and convenient to use. The location is walking distance to anything downtown, with a donut shop a minute away. We welcome the opportunity to stay here again. We stayed at Top Shrlf for Harvest Festival weekend. The apartment is perfect for two couples and convenient enough to walk to the center of downtown. Two master bedrooms both with their own onsuite bathrooms. The only drawback I can say is a little road noise, which quiets between 10pm and 6am. Outstanding experience at the Top Shelf in Paso. Location is convenient as it is walking distance to the center of town. Property itself is lovely and well-appointed. What an amazing vacation rental! Walking distance to downtown Paso Robles, where you can eat, drink, and shop. Easy access to both East and West side wineries. The unit is still brand new and very tastefully decorated. We used the kitchen every day and found everything we needed. The Apple TV took some getting used to but once we figured it out it was great. The only thing we missed was having a washer and dryer in the unit. Darling Farmhouse Apartment!
This apartment is furnished very nicely and has a great feel! Loved the farmhouse vibe! Loved the porch but it should be known that the porch overlooks an ugly parking lot...not the best place to hang out. Another thing that should be noted is the street noise.
