This home was built for entertaining and features a well-equipped kitchen and phenomenal indoor/outdoor dining with large open spaces and outdoor propane grill. Spread out on the spacious patio for classic California patio living, with views, and enjoy the over-sized, jam-packed game room for indoor fun! Entertain your friends and family with ping pong, billiards, darts, piano, board games, and more. If you are interested in a more peaceful experience venture out among the oaks surrounding the home, explore hiking paths, picnic, view barn animals, and make this a trip to remember for all age groups! Nestled on 160 acres, the home is solar powered and has virtually no neighbors in sight. If you're looking for an "off the grid" experience while still being close to town and the lake, this is it! Located only 15 min from downtown Paso Robles’ fabulous restaurants, shops and local wineries and it’s only 5 min from Lake Nacimiento and Oak Hill market, one of the best markets in the county. (This home is cooled by swamp cooler, rather than air conditioner. Living room fire place is available for fires, once our winter rains have begun)

We had a great time
We stayed here with family to attend a family wedding nearby. We were pleasantly surprised with the overall feel of the house. It's a long, steep, dirty road getting up to the house, but the house was so cute and exceeded our expectations. They had every appliance you might jeed....crock pot, juicer, blender, coffee pot, ice cream maker, and more. Easy to access washer and dryer. We didn't cook or use the kitchen appliances, but it was all available to us. The kids loved the entertainment room and ping pong table. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy and a nice outdoor area to enjoy the beautiful view with a glass of wine. There were also 4 friendly goats, 2 friendly dogs, and a herd of not friendly but very curious sheep on the property. The goats and sheep roam, so hope you like animals. We are an animal family, so that was a highlight for us. The only down side was the lack of central air. Even in November, we had an 80 degree weekend, which made for an uncomfortable night. The two portable air units really aren't enough. Otherwise, we loved it. Beautiful stay with family and friends!
We had a really wonderful weekend here with the family and friends. Kids had fun exploring, and in the massive playroom. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very very bright though! If your kid needs darkness, plan accordingly.
Kitchen well equipped.
Very easy to work with the rental company too.

Fabulous Family Vacation
We had a fabulous vacation with 5 adults and 3 children and 2 dogs at this scenic home in the hills of Paso Robles. It had everything we needed, a great patio and screened in porch for meals and hanging out, a playroom for ping pong, billiards, darts and games. TVs everywhere. A kitchen that had every utensil imaginable and equipment as well. We loved it and would return. Christmas Getaway
This was a magical and memorable Christmas. My family and I had never spent Christmas away from home but while at this air bnb, we felt at home. The space is beautiful and it starts with the journey up the driveway, through the beautiful green trees. The kitchen was perfect for hosting and fully stocked. And we never had to leave the house because there’s so much space for entertaining.

The Farm Dec. 4 2020
Had a great stay at the farm with my family. There was 6 of us so we had more than enough room. The house had plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery. There were a lot of spices to choose from as well, but bring any of your favorites. Next time I would bring my own set of knives (theirs were quite dull) and a good Teflon pan. We also wished the pool table had a complete set of balls! But other than these minor things, we had a great stay. Nights were cold, but the heater worked great in the house. Beautiful view of the stars at night! Location is OK, about 20-25 minutes from downtown Paso, and on a winding road in some spots. - Rita M., Los Angeles, California

Family Get-away
We reserved The Farm because we thought it would be a prime spot for a long weekend with our 3 grown children & their spouses & kids. When we got there & checked the property out, there were a couple of issues but I contacted the PM & the issues were immediately resolved. We spent the rest of the weekend, enjoying each other's company in this secluded, beautiful home on a hill. Restful Getaway w/ Awesome Views
Great rental overall. The road up to the house was not bad. The little farm next to the house was fun for the kids and adults. Plenty of space. Great night skies for stargazing. Game room was fun but a little cold at times. Wish there was a little less fenced off areas so we could explore a little more freely. However, walking the road was fun. Fabulous getaway in the wine country
We just spent five days at the Farm, which was the perfect getaway for our three generation group. The house is large, open, with plenty of room for everyone. The game room with the pool table and ping pong was a hit! We had dinner every night at the long plank table in the dining room. Kitchen is very well stocked. The house is clean and comfortable. But the best part is the farm itself. Our grandkids and dog had a ball with the goats, sheep and chickens. There are lots of trails on the property, and amazing views in all directions. Big house on beautiful property
The house was nice. A bit dated, but well taken care of for the most part. Comfortable home for a large group. Two large living spaces, pool table, darts and ping pong. Nice patio for sitting and watching the sunset. Be aware that it is only cooked by a swamp cooler and 3 small portable AC units. A very Happy Thanksgiving stay
We booked ‘The Farm’ for our family Thanksgiving holiday to meet in the middle of OC and San Jose and this was perfect. The property is very secluded up a long private driveway and once arriving we were not disappointed. There were horses, goats, chickens, alpaca and more. A care taker lives on the property behind the main house and was very nice. The house itself while plain from the outside is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. It had everything we needed to cook and serve our meals. It was lovely to relax outside and watch the sunsets and see sunrise too. The game room is amazing and has everything to keep kids and adults busy. We travel every year to different places and this we all agreed was our favorite. Wonderful trip to Paso!
We had to make a quick adjustment to our CA wine trip when the fires broke out in the Sonoma/Napa region. We were plesantly surprised to find Paso and this wonderful house on the hill. The farm was such a nice, peaceful place to see in the mornings and the animals were so cute. The house had everything we needed - all 9 of us - and the caretaker was very helpful. Birthday Weekend in Paso
We truly enjoyed the Farm and would stay there again. A few little things to mention though. The bbq looks like it should be for natural gas but is hooked up to propane so it cooks very hot (not something you want for your expensive meat). The kitchen is very dated but has everything would need and the outdoor area is a great place to gather after a day of wine tasting. One suggestion would be to add market lights in that outer area because there are only outdoor lights attached to the house. My family loved the game room which was great fun for us after dinner. The master bath needs a bath mat (I couldn't find one anywhere) and there needs to be an outdoor trash can but all in all everything was great. - Denise S., ,

My friends and I rented out this house for a fun weekend where we could all come together. We were not disappointed! The house is outstanding, so big, the view is beautiful, and the seclusion, in what felt like the wilderness, was amazing! We felt that we had privacy and comfort with everything we needed. Nice property but not suitable for summer with lack of AC
The property is quite nice, with horses and goats on the property and a well-maintained and designed interior. The views from the back porch are incredible, especially at sunset.
It’s about 30m from downtown Paso Robles and close to a number of wineries, so the location is pretty convenient if you’re looking for a remote getaway with accessibility to downtown and wineries.
It was unfortunately as high as 100+ degrees during our stay. This was a problem because the property only had a swamp cooler plus two external a/c units rather than true central air. Swamp coolers apparently don’t really work when the temperatures are high (It looks like anything >94 degrees) and the house is just too big for two external a/c units to keep it cool enough to be comfortable. The on site caretaker was really nice - offering carrots to feed the horses, for example! - but unfortunately wasn’t able to fix the swamp cooler. This made it hard to enjoy the property during the day and to sleep at night.
Lessons learned! It seems that it is probably best to visit Paso Robles in the fall or the spring, and super important to make sure that if it is going to be really hot that the property has a suitable AC system for that level of heat.

Magical stay for Thanksgiving
Our family had an incredible time staying at the farm for 5 nights around Thanksgiving. The property is very secluded with beautiful views in every direction. With plenty of seating a reading nooks, it made for some spectacular sunrise and sunset watching. There is something to do for everyone - farm animals And the sweetest set of Great Pyrenees for the kids, hikes and countless relaxation spots for the adults, giant playroom with plenty of activities for all. The caretaker on the property was very lovely and helpful. The house was comfortable, roomy and well stocked. We stayed in the fall so lack of AC was not an issue. There is central heating, which we took advantage of on extra cold mornings. The cell reception was a bit spotty. it would have been nice to have a landline but the WiFi was reliable enough. Naci Lake and Paso wine escape
Great time. The farm was extremely comfortable and well stocked with spies. Caretaker was really helpful in getting us familiar with everything.We would definitely return.Location was excellent. We left our boat in a slip and took approx 5 minutes to get to the lake every morning. Wineries in Paso Robles were close also.

Really special place
We absolutely loved the Farm. The location is spectacular -- fabulous views and remote. The house itself is great -- great kitchen, game room, bedrooms, and we loved all of the animals -- from the goats and sheep to the horses and chickens, but we especially loved the dogs. We hiked around the house following the sheep up and down the mountains next to the house. Easy to keep busy on the grounds for hours. What a special place! - Lisa K.

Great Escape at the Farm
We had the best time staying at the farm. The home is spacious and beautiful. The grounds are amazing, the views are stunning. We had everything we needed, and wished we could have stayed longer.
