Love this place!
Four adult men rented this house, which gave each of us separate bedrooms. And there was plenty of living space to hang with each other. The location suited us very well, too. But, there was room for improvement...
On our second night (of 4), one of us in a front-facing room was awakened around 1am by large, loud machinery (he initially thought it was a wood chipper) with bright-as-day lights shining directly into his room. An inquiry to the rental company later in the morning yielded no response. At dawn, I investigated the machine which was still on property, but not moving for some time and with its lights still on. It was a grape harvesting machine (made by Gregoire) with the driver sleeping in the cab, and a helper sleeping behind the cab. We all were disturbed that this could happen without any notice, particularly that room's occupant.
Around 7:30 the same morning, a quad came on site and started working around the vines up the hill from the house. Again, no notice provided. We are not vintners, and we think this work could have been done during the day. In any case, the occupants should be notified of any intrusion onto the property they are renting.
Less important but noteworthy: the WiFi is intermittent according to my more tech-savvy friends; improvement highly desirable. - William E., Fullerton, CA

This property is dated (deep, brown shag carpet, worn tiles, etc.) but is lovely overall. The property management company was very responsive and professional; much better than others with whom we've worked in the past. The location of this home is ideal for our needs (far from town, but close to relatives), the fruit trees and views are magnificent, and the space worked wonderfully for our family. This was a last minute stay for our family. The ladies at Paso Stay accommodated us a day before check in. We chose Solitude 1 and couldn't be happier. It was clean and nicely decorated. Check in and check out was easy. Linens, pillows, and towels were comfortable. The home is older but doesn't take away from the charm. Unbelievable Hacienda
This house was amazing ! It is huge. We loved this place. The house was very clean and had a great view. What a great courtyard to have drinks in the afternoon. The kitchen was perfect with the island in the middle. The bedrooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The master bedroom and bath was unbelievable. It was huge ! beautiful landscape and the view and sunsets were beautiful. We enjoyed all the amenities. It was a perfect location to visit all of the wineries we had planned. It’s a beautiful comfortable home.
It’s a beautiful 4 bedroom home. 2 of the bedrooms are full size beds. The 3 is Queen size & the master bedroom is King size.
There is 2 sitting rooms. 1 with a fireplace, which we enjoyed. And 3 bathrooms.
The location is great. We made a quick last minute reservation at Tobin James winery before checking in. We also visited Eberle Winery after checking.

Great situation for a family reunion
We arrived in Paso with 8 adults , 2 toddlers and one baby. Family members flew from Florida, Seattle and drove from SFO and LA. It required a lot of effort on the part of these families to take off work and get there for 4 nights. The point of explaining that is that I really wanted the place to be comfortable and relaxing for all. Solitude fit the bill.
The house was probably built as a custom home in the ‘80’s. It has not been changed since it was built. It is constructed in the hacienda style with big beams and Mexican tile floors. Everything was top of the line when built including kitchen and bathrooms. So it has stood the test of time and is still going strong. The public rooms are roomy and well arranged for a reunion. The primary bedroom is large as is the bathroom. The other rooms are not large but the beds are comfortable. The outdoor spaces are nice with beautiful landscaping in the back and being surrounded by a vineyard is amazing too. There is a courtyard in the front and you can close the gate to keep toddlers safe. Nearby the town of Paso Robles is charming and there are great playgrounds for the kids and wine tastings that are mostly kid friendly all over. All in all a perfect place to reconnect with family. Our NYE getaway
This house is absolutely beautiful. Everything you expect and more. Beautifully decorated, extremely homey and comfortable and has all the amenities needed for nice getaway. The views are spectacular, the atmosphere is so serene and the home is exquisite. There's plenty of nearby wineries for daily tasting trips and plenty of stores to pick up anything you might need. We were a group of 8 adults that wanted to getaway for NYE weekend, and we had planned to eat out at a nice dinner one night but after seeing this home we decided to enjoy the house as much as possible and eat in. The Solitude 1 is a spacious and comfortable home. There are patio areas front and back with beautiful views. There were even ripe figs and pears in the back yard. The dining table is very large and the kitchen is well equipped. We visited many wineries and even went zip lining then cooked most of our evening meals at the property. Great jumping off point for a vacation in wine country
My girlfriend and I stayed here, along with three other couples, during a wedding weekend in Paso Robles. Solitude provided a great jumping off point for our excursions to nearby wineries and vineyards. We didn't spend a ton of time in the unit during the day, but the rental was clean with comfortable beds and the kitchen was fully functional (the photos posted on VRBO offer an accurate depiction). We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee in the outdoor seating area, which provides idyllic views of the countryside.
Worth noting that the house is approx 15 min from downtown Paso Robles, though we didn't find this to be a problem.
In summary, the house offered us exactly what we were looking for: a high-value rental surrounded by the natural beauty of the region with easy access to all that Paso Robles has to offer.

Plenty of room for six adults. Everyone had comfy beds. Enjoyed coffee in the front courtyard - beautiful views. Unfortunately the Dish network refused to work, so we went the whole weekend without TV access and the speaker system. The house is built for entertaining otherwise. We were out of cell range most of our first day (wine tasting) so we couldn't get a repairman there before departure. Our only other complaint was we couldn't make ice all weekend either. That made our planned cocktails a little unfortunate as were weren't in our cars driving around much. It is a reasonable distance to town. Some uber drivers seemed a little nervous driving the two-lane road at night. The cell service and wifi were great. It's a beautiful home. - Ferol G., Fresno, CA

Overall we had a good time. Property was nice and good size. Management company is very helpful and responsive. They try to make the experience good for customers. It does match the description well. There are a few things that can be improved.
Fridge had a real bad smelll like a fish was left in it for a long time.
Internet is very slow especially when multiple people connect to it at the same time.
Beds mattresses are very soft and uncomfortable causing a back pain.
Kitchen can have some more pot pans and tools.
Furniture was good and sufficient. Outdoor seating was nice.

Beautiful hacienda amongs the vines
This home was very spacious and comfortable for our girlfriends getaway of 7. The interior was comfortable, beautifully decorated and had a few choices of gathering spots to enjoy. We also chose this location for its proximity to wineries and the feeling of being out in the country while still only 15 minutes to town. Lovely home in the midst of a vineyard
A great place to really get away. The rental is called "Solitude" and the name fits. Extremely large and open living area with lots of French doors that open from both sides of the main room to access the front courtyard and the back patio. The bathroom in the master suite is huge. It would have been nice to have more than one bathroom for the other three bedrooms, but of course we knew the bathroom situation when renting.

We searched many avenues, and had a difficult time finding exactly what we wanted, until I stumbled upon Paso Robles Vacation Rentals, who went above and beyond to accommodate us, making this process easier than I could have hoped for. I could rave for many lines about how helpful, and patient Wendy and Jessica both were with my siblings and myself as we tried to make decisions.
The pictures on the site do not do this property justice, the house is absolutely beautiful, and had more than enough space to accommodate us. We had two babies with us, and the house provided more than enough privacy for the babies to cry as loudly as they needed without waking anyone up.
The kitchen was well equipped, and made preparing large amounts of food very easy. We used the grill for one of our dinners, and it was clean, with a full tank of propane.
The rooms were clean, and beds comfortable, plenty of towels, with access to washer and dryer.
We will definitely be using the Paso Robles Vacation Rental company again.

You can do it by bike or by car as well. It's like a wine lovers Disneyland.
Drove into Passeau Robles and Templeton for dinner. Trader Joe's in Templeton is a must for Staples.

Beautiful outdoor spaces
Our favorite place was the beautiful front courtyard with fountain, birds, flowers and tiny lizards. This is a very large house with large group spaces. Adequate kitchen and an electric grill outside. The master bedroom is very large and has a very large bathroom/shower. The other three bedrooms are quite small and grouped around one much smaller bathroom. This property is in the middle of a working vineyard, and there was loud machinery noise and spraying during two of the three nights we were there. Went for our daughters wedding. Got to first house to find a leak in ceiling. They were there in less then 15. We had to move, were sad to go but the house they put us in was an upgrade and closer to our venue. It was amazing. So much room and everything we could ask for. 50th Anniversary Celebration
Our immediate clan (8 adults and 4 children), gathered for a very special occasion, our 50th anniversary. Solitude I easily accommodated our numbers. There is a great little bunk house across the patio that the children loved. The gorgeous property allowed for much exploration and privacy. We enjoyed fresh fruit from the many trees and had a photographer
take family photos under the grape arbor! Inside the decor was beautiful with top of the line furniture, the property was exceptionally clean. We will definitely return as we loved Solitude I and Paso Robles. We had a wonderful day wine tasting and an unforgettable dinner at the Allegretto Resort, where we were wined and dined like never before. Although there were several little hitches with our stay at Solitude I the rental agency answered promptly, efficiently and with gracious hospitality. I can't say enough about Paso Robles Rentals and their kindness. The house was beautiful however hard to enjoy the views of the winery from the porch. The pictures on the site made it seem like you can but there’s a wall surrounding the patio that obstructs the view. It’s a shame as we were hoping to sit outside at night with a glass of wine & enjoy the winery view.

Anniversary weekend celebration
This house is beautiful! We were looking for a house that would accommodate a small gathering of our friends and family to join us in celebrating our 10th year wedding anniversary. This house was perfect! Owners approved our small gathering for an additional deposit, which was totally fair. The house is beautifully decorated and we wouldn't have wanted anything damaged. The views from the front yard are spectacular.
Only negatives: the kitchen could use additional pans and bathrooms don't have locks.

We were married at Still Waters Vineyard so the location was ideal. The property was better than I expected and was under-described on the web site. The fig trees were ripe as well as some remaining grapes. So that was an real treat. We had the rehearsal dinner there and it accommodated a lot of people who were able to mill around inside and out. Perfectly presented home in a gorgeous rural setting yet only 10 minutes from Paso. Perfect for entertaining. Only reservations are the knives and potato peeler could be sharper, the 4 beds are all at one end of the house and the views are a little disrupted by the garage and high foliage; but that is knit-picking.
