This 3BR/2.5BA two-story, split-level home also features a front deck, side garden, and off-street parking for two vehicles. We were in town for a wedding, and the location of the house was perfectly located to everything we wanted to do. Not to mention, after splitting the cost, it was really the same price compared to hotels in the area, but a much nicer setting. Nice place, needs a couple tweaks
Nice property that suited our group very well. Everything was as advertised, location was great for walking downtown to the playground so the kids could get exercise. Easy access to 101 to get around.
Two issues for us:
1) The grill is tiny. Like 4 steaks max. Tried to cook two racks of ribs and there was zero space for them and they all got burned because there was no possibility of indirect heat. Upgrade to a proper grill with 3 - or ideally 4 - burners.
2) The shutters in the master bedroom look quite nice, but don't keep light out. This led to us not being able to sleep in the morning - not a good outcome. - Anonymous, LOS ANGELES, CA

We had trouble with the lockbox for the gate key. We were also a bit surprised that we needed to provide our own hand soap for the bathrooms. Perfect Paso home for two families!
This was a great location. Perfect getaway from LA and suitable for our two small families. We had two children who shared one of the rooms. The location is close enough to walk to downtown but tucked away behind the main busy street which was nice. Sleeping areas upstairs kept the large living/lounging room area downstairs separate. Outside area and barbecue are nice. (Note, there’s a lot of light that comes into the rooms so bring an eye mask if you’re used to blackout shades). We made a feast by purchasing steaks and fish to grill and enjoyed just resting and relaxing inside. As for the kitchen, just a couple notes...the stove needs to be adjusted (check the legs) to ensure it sits level. It was hard to cook food evenly because it was on an incline and somewhat lopsided...but totally fixable. Also, it’s helpful to advise people to not leave food or dirty dishes out since the heat brings out ants. We woke up one morning and found that out the hard way. Probably not an issue for most, but for those planning on using the kitchen for cooking or storing snacks keep this in mind. Nice addition is accessible garage parking although there’s plenty of street parking yoo. Overall we would be back and enjoyed our stay. - Ana M., Los Angeles, CA

Comfy Spot
Definitely a well located, comfy home in the town of Paso. Loved the walkability to town. Small but cozy outdoor spaces with privacy. Overall, property was a bit more tired/rundown than expected, but it worked pretty well for our needs. Property is quite vertical (2 steep staircases, including 1 when you immediately enter) so not ideal if climbing stairs is challenging for a guest. - Anonymous, Chicago, IL

Family Wedding Weekend
We stayed at Vintage Paso from 9/26 to 9/30 while attending a family wedding. Other family and friends stayed in PRVR properties on Pacific, Merry Hill and Olive. Our home was perfect for the 5 of us. We did want to make note that the fire pit on the front deck would not stay lit. We tried twice and although it would start, the flame would almost immediately go out. Also, in the master bedroom, the ceiling fan/light is controlled by the light switch at the door (taped in the "up" position), and also the switch outside the bathroom. We had a mini reunion in Paso for 4 long time friends. This house was perfect for us! The bedrooms were all together and very comfy. There was plenty of room for us to move around, chat, and cook. amazing stay in Paso Robles at a amazing house
first and foremost the house is in the perfect location to everything. the drive to Wineries and markets are all local drives. The house is amazing. For Paso Robles it does get hot but the house has a great AC system that keeps it cool all day and night. There is plenty of space for you and your family to gather in the living room, kitchen, and patio areas. there are two very nice patios to relax and drink wine. what got my attention was the monitor screen on the wall. it is connect to wifi and gives you local information places to go and things to see. its location in the dining area is perfect so the whole family can see. We used it to help decide where to go eat and go see Paso Robles attractions. Beautiful home with plenty of space and options to hang out for a small group of friends. Loved the front deck with fire pit and twinkle lights on the balcony - perfect for evenings! Clean, fully loaded kitchen with all appliances imaginable, touchscreen display in dining room welcoming our group, garage to park our car, beautiful bedrooms with spacious closets. We did have a little difficulty starting the fire pit, and with locking/unlocking the door to the front deck, and contacted the rental company but did not get a response (however, it was Saturday evening). A gentle suggestion: provide coffee and tea next to the large coffee maker, or advise guests to bring their own. Also, I think it's important to mention that the property comes with a very friendly cat who may join you if you hang out outdoors. (There is a cat door by the front gate.) Two of us got scratched while the cat was climbing on us for some snuggle time by the fire pit. Consider this if you have cat allergies. Nice home
We come to Paso Robles several times a year. The house is in a great location. Walking distance to downtown. When you enter the front door you are met with a fairly steep staircase up to the main floor (Not good for people with bad knees). The house was clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen. The living room furniture isn't very comfortable, but we weren't home that much. A 60th Birthday celebration
Our stay was pleasant and extremely close to the downtown area. Thank you for having the air conditioner on when we arrived. It was an extremely hot weekend. The only issue was the front door which did not automatically lock once closed. I contacted the management company to correct this issue. This was a reunion with two college buddies and our spouses. We had a great time. The home is in great shape and we really enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect. There are different levels so lots of stairs-something to consider if you have any issues with them. But we would stay there again!
