I rented this unit for while I was working a harvest in Paso Robles. It was absolutely perfect. The house was well maintained and was furnished with all the items I needed for cooking. The front porch was fabulous at night to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine after a long day at work. On the weekends, my husband would come up and bring our dogs and the backyard space allowed for them to run and enjoy some time outside. The location to downtown is perfect and several local eateries and shops are within just a few minutes walk.

This cozy little space was thoughtfully decorated, the shower head was glorious with endless hot water! Kitchen fully equipped! We loved the deck with twinkle lights, perfect to unwind after a long day. Walking to downtown Paso is easy and close as well as quick access to the freeway. Felt like a little home away from home!

I loved Paso on Oak and would definitely return for another stay and recommend it to others. The home is very comfortable for 1 or 2 people, and the large shady backyard is very inviting. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals, but of course there are plenty of restaurants and take-out food options nearby. The downtown area is an easy walk, as is a full grocery store. My stay was in the heat of June, but the home stayed fairly cool. I felt perfectly comfortable and safe leaving the windows open at night. Oak Street is quiet with very little traffic, even with the early learning center located on the same block. I used the barbecue and the washer/dryer - both were handy to have for a month-long stay. Though I preferred the backyard seating area and picnic table, I enjoyed the front deck once the summer sun dipped behind the trees across the street. The off-street parking is a plus. The other half of the duplex tended to be used only on weekends during June; it was fun to greet and meet other vacationers as they came and went during the month. The service from the crew at Paso Stay was also excellent.
