It was wonderful. The house was beautiful and large enough for our family of 13 in all age ranges from infant to seniors.

Oaks And Roses 4 family vacation

We all had a grand time at Oaks and Roses!

The home was beautiful and clean. The staff at PRVR were attentive and helpful!
We had asked about a pack and play for the youngest in the family. When we got there, we couldn't find it. After checking, PRVR promptly brought one to us!

The pool is mostly the same depth which I thought we wouldn't like but it worked perfectly for the swimmers and non-swimmers in the group. It was also refreshing during the hottest part of the summer!

We had all the dogs (5) which they graciously accepted! Plenty of room to roam and sniff!

As other reviews stated, you ARE in the country so remember that! We did deal with ants and found a rodent in the pool. All part of life in the country!!

We totally enjoyed ourselves and would recommend to others!

Great House and Property for a Large Family Vacay!

My family (parents, adult children with their partners, and two little ones aged 3 and 1) had a wonderful stay at Oaks and Roses. The property is meticulously maintained with beautiful landscaping, and the nature watching is exceptional. Although the pool isn’t heated, it warmed up by the afternoon thanks to the 95-degree weather.

The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, with all the essentials for cooking, including basic spices and plenty of dishes and glasses. We particularly enjoyed the various outdoor seating areas, and my mom loved bird watching from the front porch.

The property management company was extremely responsive to our questions and concerns both before and after our stay. They even provided an interactive screen onsite for easy communication about any issues or questions.

A few things to consider: The house has vaulted ceilings, which significantly amplify noise. Adding more artwork or rugs could help reduce the echo, which was noticeable with a large group.

If you have small children who struggle with stairs, bring a baby gate for the staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom, as it is quite steep. My kids managed fine, but this house is better suited for confident walkers or children in elementary school and older.

Pretty property but lots of issues.

The property and area were beautiful. We did have several issues however. The refrigerator water and ice were broken. We were not notified of this head of time. The house inside and out had hundreds of bugs. We killed a ton of spiders inside the house. We also had to vacuum all windows before we could open them because there were spider webs everywhere. Our dogs even had ticks get on them from outside. The house GREATLY needs to be treated for bugs before they have guests stay. The hot tub also wasn't working the first few days. We had to have a technician come by twice to get it to work. The property was very nice but it is extremely disappointing when you pay as much as we did and have issued like bugs and appliances broken. They should have offered us a discount or something for this disturbance, but we were not offered anything. This is unfortunate.

Great family house.

Beautiful home and property. Three families met with 5 kids (ages 11-13) and 5 adults. This home has plenty of space and beds for all. Well swiped kitchen. Easy check in and out. We would recommend more outdoor lighting in the back on the porch and near the pool. Future guests should note there are no condiments in the home except salt and pepper. Bring everything else you need for eating. Plenty to do on the property (games inside and outside) and near by (wineries). Overall fantastic home, I would definitely come back.
