Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a property with two master bedroom suites, this home has all the convenience of being in downtown, without the hustle and bustle of big city life. Come and relax as you tour the famous wine country of Paso Robles, or simply enjoy the many events held annually in the area. Lewis Loft is a charming upstairs unit built in 2010, with a second full bedroom suite recently added downstairs. Just three blocks from the heart of downtown and located in the Historic Vine Street district of Paso Robles any brief walk down the street will expose you to many historic structures from the early days. It sits behind and was built on the same property as The Historic Victorian Eppinger/Lewis House that was built in 1889. Another short walk to the down town of Paso Robles where you can enjoy the dining, entertainment and unique shopping boutiques, or just a quiet stroll through the park. You can pick up some fresh local farm goods and items from the Farmers Market in the park on Saturday mornings and Tuesday afternoons. This property is a two bedroom/two bath condo, with a walk-in closet, queen sofa sleeper and TV in the upstairs living area. It has a kitchen, stacked washer/dryer and is set up for internet with a desk for your convenience. The loft has a private indoor staircase with an intercom to the outside front door, for security. We have supplied it with extra bedding and cooking needs for extended stays. Wonderful place for a weekend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lewis Loft. The location is terrific, a short walk to all the restaurants and tasting rooms downtown. Bruce was quick to respond to our texts and met us at check-in so it was easy upon arrival. The place itself is perfect for two couples, one large bedroom (and a great shower) downstairs, and a suite upstairs with another bedroom, kitchen and living area. Super clean Victorian charmer
This is a wonderfully maintained and very clean property. It is close to downtown but also close to a much used street so at those busy times of day, you can hear traffic. Otherwise, a very quiet area. Windows are all double paned, so the noise is minimal. There is no code to get into the property, so we were required to meet the owner at the front door to get in. This cramped our freedom of arrival time, although the very kind owner would meet us at any time of our choosing; we just couldn't vary our schedule as we drove from our home to Paso. The house has absolutely everything that you could want in a rental, and the owner was totally available for us. The Lewis Loft was great. The bed was very comfortable. Very clean and cozy. The house is set up perfectly for 2 couples. It was a pleasant surprise to see the pantry filled with coffee choices and a choice of coffee makers too. The refrigerator full of cold water was appreciated. The owner met us at the house and was very hospitable and answered our questions. The location was perfect. Easy access to downtown, wineries, etc...We were surprised at how quiet the house was. The perfect stay in Paso Robles

The Lewis Loft is an absolute gem! This property is located in the perfect spot only a short walk from the square so dining, shopping, and cocktailing is around the corner!

Bruce helped with our vacation long before we even got there! He helped us with his thoughts on vineyards and restaurants, which were all great suggestions. The location was perfect for us as we were walking distance to the downtown square where we saw a concert in the park the first evening we where there. Lewis Loft in Paso Robles is a very wonderful vacation rental. The pictures of this apartment do it justice. It is very well appointed and a very pleasant space. Linens & towels were soft, the bed was very comfortable. We cooked a couple of meals and found the gas range very good. The only thing we found lacking was a French chef knife. (Grocery Outlet!) The apartment has amazing natural light from all the windows. It is in a very quiet part of town and very close to the downtown area. Paso is near the coast but warmer & out of the fog. This is a great little apartment. Steps from downtown (and the Wine Festival, restaurants, and tasting rooms) the location couldn't be more perfect.
The decor is perfect - very Craftsman-style throughout with lots of stained oak, white cabinetry, and crown molding throughout. It speaks to my HGTV soul.
The amenities are nice, with a fridge, stove, microwave, and HE washer and dryer. Very relaxing. Almost.
My one complaint, and I talked to Terry about this (she's a doll, by the way, as is her hubby Bruce) and that is the lack of privacy over the front windows. That bothered me to the point that unless it's rectified, I won't rent it again. The curtains that are on the windows are cute, but aren't able to be taken down for privacy; as a result, you can see everything. Since I can see in the windows of other homes, I can only assume that they can see me. The large front window to the bathroom is a direct line of sight. Ugh. I draped a blanket over the curtain rod and felt better immediately.

The Lewis Loft was the PERFECT place for our first visit to Paso Robles! The place was well appointed, super clean, incredibly homey - and only a few minutes walk to the town square (stumbling distance from the best restaurants in town - Artisan, Il Cortile, Fishguacho, etc.). Lewis Loft exceeded my expectations for a downtown rental. The unit is new and clean, has all the amenities you need to have a great trip in Paso and even has a dedicated parking spot. The unit is fairly large and above a business that is closed by 5 so you are really the only building occupant at night and it's very quiet. The location is great as it is Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and cheese shops! Drive down Vine to 24th and you are just a left turn out to wine country to visit some great wineries. We have stayed at winery rentals in the past and it was nice to drive home in the daylight from tasting, relax and then walk downtown for dinner and not drive back out to wine country in the dark. We met our host when we arrived and he showed us around and even provided us bottled water, chocolates and wine! You won't get a personal experience like this in a hotel. Highly recommended. The apartment was great. It was in walking distance to downtown yet was in a nice quiet area of town. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Bruce met us on Sunday afternoon with the key, etc. We enjoyed the bottle of wine that he left for us. We had a great time touring many wineries and we also went wildflower viewing. This is a great place to stay - the owner is great - very willing to meet you or give you information about the little town. When you stay on the weekend, you have a parking spot right at the house. A wonderful destination with VRBO lodging to match. I must start by stating that the Paso Robles Vacation Rentals and the owner of the "Lewis Loft"(Bruce) were fantastic and extremely helpful and accommodating to our changing needs and really showed fantastic customer service. We had problems with our original rental and needed to be relocated at the last minute, at a late hour and we were so pleased at the help we received in locating the Lewis Loft. The place is very clean, has everything you need for a great stay. It is walking distance to the downtown square and all the neat stores and restaurants.
