Description
Jany House, built in 1920 and refurbished in 2013, is the perfect combination of classic, Craftsman-style living, downtown location, renewed beauty, and gracious living. Architecturally interesting and so comfortable, this, three-bedroom, home also provides lots of living space, so you and your friends, or family, can spread out and enjoy. Formal dining room, grand kitchen with a farmhouse sink and granite countertops, wood flooring throughout, charming outdoor spaces, Jany House has it all. Complete the picture with 2 spacious bedrooms each with luxurious king beds. The master has an in-room vanity, the en-suite with walk in shower. The sunny third bedroom features two twin beds. The hall bathroom features a shower & tub combination. You will find the trellised outdoor sitting area, garden fountain and raised patio invite you outside, as well. BBQ on the grill and sit under the grape vine arbor sipping your wine finds of the day! City Permit #STR19-0114.

The Jany home is a beautiful classic home that has all the amenities and is walking distance to all restaurants and wine tasting rooms. There are two full bedrooms and two full baths along with one tiny bedroom with a day bed. The kitchen is fully stocked and has plenty of area to sit down and eat. The house has a nice game room too with slot of games. We really enjoyed the home and used it to the fullest given the high temp recently. We will definitely come again. Wonderful Paso Robles weekend visit
Great weekend in Paso Robles. The house was in convenient location- could walk to restaurants downtown. House was well stocked with kitchen supplies, blankets, board games, washer, iron ....We were three couples in town for a wedding. Spacious and comfortable common areas within the house so we could visit with each other, much better than being in a hotel. Our group of friends loved this property. So grateful for the Architectural character and warm cosy feel of this large home. One block from the new Marketplace with a food court and music in the evenings. We frequented the coffee and bakery in the morning and the sandwich shop in the evening. We also brought food home to sit out on the sunny patio at the house. Favorite things about the house are the quiet neighborhood and walking distance to town square. Delightful mixture of old and new
The Jany Home Downtown was build in 1920 and in many ways it reminded me of my grandmother's house (which was built in 1907). It had a parlor for games, a formal dining room, and lots of old clocks and radios (those fascinated my grandchildren). But the house was throughly modern where it needed to be - the kitchen, bathrooms, the heating system and sunny breakfast nook were all excellently updated. The house was clean and convenient. Relaxing weekend in Paso
We had a great weekend at the Jany House. It’s much bigger than we had originally thought with plenty of space for 2 couples and a kid. (You could even socially distance inside if you wanted). We bbq’d outside and there’s a nice sitting area to have a glass of wine. We also enjoyed the games in the game room. It’s walking distance to town and near grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants. Quaint, quiet historic vacation spot
The Jany House was a wonderful mini vacation spot for our family. It was exactly as advertised. Just a few steps away from the Main Street through downtown Paso Robles, but not too close to be noisy. We really enjoyed walking our dog to Sasquatch Coffee each morning and even enjoyed dinner at Roots on Railroad one evening. The beds were comfy and the showers were hot and great water pressure. We had a very nice stay at the property. I have two comments to help make the place a 5 star stay. When we arrived the front door was wide open and the back door was unlocked. This did not make us feel very safe entering the home. We were only provided 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom and there was no more to be found anywhere. The Jany House is a home away from home.
We rented the Jany House for a weekend one-shot D&D session and we were not disappointed. Plenty of space for our group, huge dining table for the game, and an excellent location close to lots of shops for supplies and other needs (especially donuts).
Even had time to go to a local antique shop in walking distance, got acquainted with the local merchants, and enjoyed the outdoor space of the Jany House.
Will my group stay here again? Absolutely.

Beautiful Home with Early Last Century Vibe
I have a thing for houses from early 20th Century, which was what originally attracted me to the Jany Home. It did not disappoint. All the "features" from the 1920's were there, but the house was carefully kept up and clean. Having coffee in the breakfast room as the early morning light streamed in, checking email in the "game room" with a view of the front garden, having dinner in the elegant, spacious dining room. All were high points. In addition, the house is literally across the street from the new Paso Market Walk, with several fine eateries (I recommend Finca, In Bloom, and Momotaro Ramen), a bakery, coffee, etc. The owners of Jany Home were very helpful and welcoming. Renting a vacation home- an ideal choice for our family reunion
After recommendations from several friends, my sisters and I decided to look into using a vacation rental when planning our recent reunion. We settled on the Jany House, an updated historic home in the heart of Paso Robles. It was a choice we were all enthusiastic about, and suited our needs so well. I'm sure this is the beginning of a new trend for us when planning our future get-togethers, as well as for my husband and I in our regular travels. The process for rental was relatively simple and proceeded smoothly, and the few concerns we had were quickly responded to and resolved. The location of the house was excellent- very close to downtown, but removed enough to ensure it was very quiet and relaxed. Although we ate all our breakfasts and a couple of dinners utilizing the fully furnished kitchen, we could also be anywhere to eat (at a nice choice of restaurants) in just five minutes or so. Our week in Paso was filled with great shopping, eating, visiting friends, historic sites and the terrific Pioneer Museum, and even venturing beyond to the coast and all its attractions within a scenic 40 minute drive. Our week ended all too soon, but we hope to return on other occasions, and if we do, we will certainly plan to use a vacation rental! - Carol R., Athens, GA

My wife, daughter, her friend, and I stayed at Jany House 3-7 Oct 2015. Jany House was comfortable, spacious, and well equipped with all the essentials for a very enjoyable stay. Jany House is very convenient to downtown, and easily accessible to/from US 101. As an unexpected bonus, the grapes growing on the trellis in the back yard were awesome! We were in Paso Robles for a wedding and a funeral, and the Jany House was perfect for all our needs. There is a grocery store 2 blocks north and the kids loved the donut shop 1 block south. The neighbors were pleasant and the location quiet. The house is beautifully remodelled and there were plenty of entertaining things to do from just sitting in the garden to playing games or watching tv. The beds were comfortable, and everything was provided. The staff at the rental management company were very professional and the owner very friendly and accessible...thank you Caroline for rescuing us from locking ourselves out on Friday. Our two-night stay was excellent for five adults, one six-month old granddaughter and two dogs. We all enjoyed the house which had a comfortable feel with plenty of space. The back yard was pleasant and convenient since one dog, a Siberian Husky, usually sleeps outside. The owner met us there and was gracious and helpful.
The location was in walking distance of restaurants and the town square. Great wineries were short drives away through beautiful countryside. We took our niece and husband from New York City for tastings at Tablas Creek (my favorite) and Justin. Both were excellent. The cave tour at Justin was great. We went on a Tuesday which avoided any crowds and hassles.

We went for a girls weekend to the Three Speckled Hens. We had a great time. We were able to walk to town for dinner and shopping. We had a small problem with the water heater. The owner was on top of it! It was fixed the very same day and she gave us a discount for the inconvenience. Paso Robles Thanksgiving Weekend
Our group consisted of six adults and two dogs. The house could not have been more perfect for our stay! It is really unique in that it offers the feel of a historic house with modern appliances. The kitchen was stocked nicely with new cutlery and pots/pans.The back area is completely fenced in and was perfect for our dogs. The location was really convenient to the downtown area and the nearby wineries. I couldn’t recommend the house more highly - Pablo T., ,

The home was very nicely appointed and was well-represented in the marketing description. We enjoyed our stay and found the place comfortable. The only negative was in trying to operate the TV. While I’m pretty tech-savvy, I was completely confused by the assortment (5?) of remote controls - and none operated in the way the instructions said they would. We loved our stay at Jany House....came for a quick wine tasting weekend with friends. The house is a vintage charm, we loved everything about it! We BBQ’d the first night and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! We sat out under the arbor for visiting and morning coffee!! We had such a great time at this house. It was the perfect size and it had everything we needed. We loved sitting outside. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. we stayed here for Paso Winefest. It was a lovely home with plenty of room for 6 people. The house has a lot of charm.
It was a nice, healthy walk to downtown, unfortunately, there was a heat wave (100+) , so the walk was not as comfortable as it would of been if it had been cooler. With that said the house was comfortable and the AC worked. The evenings were spent out side in the garden and that was lovely. Very quiet neighborhood. Quaint 1920s Home
The house is very beautiful and the fenced yard was safe for a toddler. The bathrooms have been remodeled and are clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen lacked a frying pan for our breakfast eggs but had plenty of flatware and dishes. This home is vintage 1920 and the owner has a few updates to complete. Some dust and grime here and there and creaky floors and squeaky doors. A 6 block walk to Downtown and 2 blocks away from a Smart & Final for groceries. I would stay here again. - Jane O., Orange, CA

We stayed here for 6 weeks and were very pleased with the home. The kitchen is well equipped, the furniture is nice and the whole house is very comfortable. We spent most evenings in the courtyard, which is also comfortably "furnished".
