Description

Perched atop a serene hilltop overlooking seemingly endless vineyards, the G2 North Vineyard home is a breathtakingly remodeled property that invites you to embrace the tranquility of quiet country living while being just a stone's throw away from Paso Robles, Templeton, Atascadero, and the coastal gems of Cambria, Cayucos, and Morro Bay along the 46 West. Dive headfirst into the wine country lifestyle at this hilltop sanctuary. Picture yourself unwinding on the back patio, savoring the aroma of BBQ wafting through the air as you clink glasses filled with local wine against a backdrop of rolling hills. Nestled within a working vineyard, this expansive abode not only boasts a main house but also features a private suite to the left of the main entrance. The cozy suite includes a queen bed, an en-suite full bathroom, and contributes to the overall bedroom and bathroom count, making it a perfect retreat for families and friends seeking a relaxing getaway. Just a short drive away from numerous world-class wineries, this hidden gem on the central coast sits atop a private hill surrounded by lush trees and sweeping views of the wine country. Watch mesmerizing sunsets paint the sky in hues of red and orange, and lose yourself in stargazing sessions under the vast night sky. The house isn't merely a dwelling amidst grapevines; it's a haven perched high on a hill witnessing the unfolding of Bill Gibbs' latest endeavor, the G2 North Vineyard (G2N). In addition to his famed Heart Stone Vineyard and G2 Vineyard, focusing on premium Rhone varietals like Syrah and Grenache for renowned wineries such as Saxum and Turtle Rock, Bill recently acquired the 80-acre G2 North Vineyard. Positioned in the coveted Willow Creek AVA, this vineyard specializes in Bordeaux varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, making it a key player in the winemaking scene. Surrounded by esteemed wineries like Clos Solene and James Berry Vineyard, G2N is already making waves in the industry, with top wineries like Turtle Rock and Herman Story among its clientele. The 2022 harvest marks the debut of this vineyard's organic, low-yield farming practices, promising high-quality produce that's set to elevate the region's winemaking standards. G2N offers so much more than access to wine country ā€“ from the awe-inspiring views and secluded setting away from bustling roads, to a welcoming gathering space, to the opportunity to marvel at the unspoiled night sky free from light pollution. Not to mention the proximity to esteemed westside wineries and the allure of the house itself, promising a stay filled with relaxation and wonder. Perfection awaits at G2N ā€“ where every moment is destined to be unforgettable. We had an amazing stay at G2 North Vineyard.
What a gorgeous view we had from every room. House is equipped with everything our family needed for the holiday stay. It's one of the cleanest vacation rental I've stayed in.
We made the house our base and roamed around in nearby towns and did wine tastings.
I Highly recommend the property for a great time with friends and family.

Every year for the past 10 years we have come for a Wine Weekend in the Paso Robles region. We rent a vacation home for 4 days with 10 of our friends. This is by far our favorite place to stay and we will be back next year!!! :) It has an absolutely beautiful and relaxing setting. Paso Robles Vacation Rentals has done an outstanding job of finding and showcasing homes for us over the years!

The view though!

First time back in the area in 15 years and brought our adult kids for a 5-day get-away. The house was very clean and very well furnished. Despite dishwasher and oven issues, the property mgmt team communicated with us quickly. Finally, the view over the valley and the vineyards were AMAZING (perfect for stargazing too)! Pictures do not come close to doing it justice.

Would highly recommend for friend groups and families that don't mind being a bit secluded, but still in close proximity to lots of great wineries.
Amazing Home!

This home was amazing and beautiful but the views were the most incredible part! We truly felt like we were in the heart of wine country. The location is remote, quiet, and private. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Vineyard views for a memorable birthday

Loved it! Beautiful views, clean home and peaceful area. Only critique is the amount of bird and guessing lizard droppings there were right outside one of the doors leading into the backyard. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a really long time.

Perfect House to Celebrate Together

We were four couples looking for a place to celebrate one friend's 70th birthday. This home was perfect! The kitchen was ideal for gathering in the morning and cooking together a couple evenings. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The beautiful deck had plenty of comfortable furniture. The only thing that would have made it better would be a shower in the one bedroom/bath that only had a sink and toilet, but we made it work. We had a couple issues during our stay and found the staff to be highly responsive to fixing them quickly. Highly recommend this house for a family or friends gathering. One warning - the road to the house twists and turns through a vineyard and could be confusing if arriving after dark. Once you've driven it once, it's cake!

Great location, good property

It was a truly unique location, amazing views from the property and the house was beautiful, with plenty of space. The kids had a great time.
It’s quite a drive from Paso downtown so be prepared for that.
Couple of cons though
- too many mosquitoes on the property and I wish they provided bug spray
- there was a rat running around in the house
- the customer service rep asked us to leave promptly at 11 even though there was no one due to check in that day, saying the “cleaners would show up exactly at 11”.. but guess what there was no cleaners till noon. She very well could’ve allowed us to stay longer since we rushed our breakfast because of that.

Great spot

The house is beautiful and just like the pictures. The location and view are really great if you want to feel like you are in the heart of wine country, and this is among the very best spots for the west Paso vineyards. There are little outdoor spaces with deck chairs around the back of the house to have time to yourself if you are with a big group. We walked in the vineyards in the morning and enjoyed the views and patio at dinner time. Three of the four bedrooms have a full bath. One of the bedrooms is really a granny suite, which was nice for additional privacy. The kitchen is well equipped. The grill worked great. Renters should keep in mind that the primary bedroom does not seem to be hooked up to the A/c system in the same way as the rest of the house, so on hot nights you'll need to sleep with windows open to catch the breeze, and it can still be pretty warm until the middle of the night. It's a minor issue, and doesn't change our desire to rent the place again. Overall, all agreed it was a great place to stay.

We celebrated my sister's birthday in Paso Robles and stayed at G2N-G2 North vineyard. First the view - extraordinary! Comfy living room, cozy, clean and modern bedrooms. Well stocked kitchen. Multiple spots for eating. We loved our stay. A bit windy for the drive up to the house in last 1/4 mile but worth it. Highly recommend.
