Perfect family getaway
Charm on Chestnut is just that... very charming!
The owner Steve met us at the location and went over all the details needed for our stay and had much knowledge to offer about the local wineries and restaurants. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay in this newly remodeled, comfortably clean, and cozy home located within a short tree-lined walking distance to downtown. During our visit we visited the local wineries, beaches, horseback riding, and of course shops and restaurants in downtown. Great wine getaway location!
Charm on chestnut was a perfect location for our weekend. The furniture was comfortable, the house was clean, we had use of the garage, laundry and they even left us coffee and tea! It was a quick walk to restaurants and manageable Uber to wineries if you didn’t want to drive. Check in and checkout were easy and not burdensome on the guest. Cute house in a cute neighborhood
My friends and I arrived at the house late in the evening due to traffic conditions on the 101. We were attending the Three Speckled Hens event at the Paso Robles Fairgrounds. The house and property were cute and nicely maintained. Clean interior. The owner came to meet us after I contacted him on the phone. He provided us with keys, maps, and gave us lots of interesting and valuable information about the surrounding areas and wineries of interest. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were clean. The only complaint I have is we couldn't find any coffee in the morning, and all of us are addicted, which was problematic. No one could function well without it. After calling my sister who is local and could get us coffee, I found a tiny bag of grounds in the freezer. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for 3 days! The house held six adults very comfortably and the nightly walks to downtown Paso for dinner took only a few minutes. The host was amazing, very welcoming and jnformative about what to see and what to do in the area, he recommended several restaurants, sites, and specific wineries to visit. We had a good stay here. The furniture was really comfortable (bed, couches etc) for a family of four plus our dog, and it was super clean. The backyard is small but it had enough space for our dog (the photos make the garden seem bigger). Our only issue was with the large construction project in the school across the street. There was some noise from time to time(not loud but it was definitely there) and dust on weekdays. This immaculate house was perfect for our stay. We wanted to experience the area and the location was great. We walked to the many restaurants in the beautiful downtown area. We loved our stay at Charm on Chestnut. The home was more than we needed with my husband, myself and our grown daughter being that it was 3 bedroom; but the bathrooms are very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. I am a former resident of Paso Robles so it was nice to have friends over, BBQ etc. We walked downtown every day and I loved being able to house the car in the garage and the option to do laundry when needed. We stayed at the house with our children and in-laws. The house was very clean and felt like the carpet was freshly cleaned. There were several board and card games and books to peruse. Wi-fi capability was an added bonus. The bathrooms were large and beautiful and had shampoo and conditioner ready to use. The location is across the street from an elementary school, but it was very quiet when we stayed. There were several deer that came down several nights. The Homeowner was very flexible as to arrival and departure and had a very detailed binder like you might find in a hotel with local information. The property was well-maintained and very clean. Usually when I am on vacation, other homes don't feel like a home to me, but this house made me feel like I was at home. 6 family members vacationed together for 4 days, we had a wonderful time. The house is spacious, comfortable and located in a perfect spot - downtown is within walking distance, and it's far enough away from fairgrounds that we didn't have to deal with the fair traffic (it was in town during our stay). We heard the concerts every night and enjoyed them from the lovely front porch, glasses of wine in hand. Charm on Chestnut was very clean and spacious and in a very convenient location. Minor issues that were mainly due to the weather was that there was a significant ant problem when we were there. We couldn't leave anything on the counter for more than hour before ants found it. Hope the owner fixes the issue for future guests! Great house and perfect location near downtown!
We came for a weekend getaway with our 6 month old and another family with two young kids. It was the perfect house, nice layout, large bedrooms and bathrooms, well appointed kitchen, and great open concept living/dining space. We really enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk downtown in the morning for coffee, as well as the short drive (10-15 mins) to most nearby wineries. The owner could not have been nicer or more hospitable when we first arrived. We really appreciated the website and also being able to get someone on the phone who was knowledgeable. Everything was great except that we really felt it was too expensive for what we received. The property was priced high at almost $600 a night -- 4 people in our group of 6 felt it was priced too high. This is the second time we have stayed in this house for our annual BMW Club wine weekend. While most opt to stay in a landmark hotel, ai find that the comforts of this house far outweigh the limitations of the hotel. The home is spotless and only a short walk to the downtown restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay at Charm on Chestnut. It was perfect for our 1 year old grandson with the backyard and being across the street from the school. Great House Walking Distance to Downtown
We had two couples stay for two nights and had a great time. The place is like new, with two large bedrooms, and a third normal bedroom. The bathrooms were giant and amazing. This is 9 blocks -15 minutes- walking from downtown. This is a great deal with 2/3 couples or a family. - Michael B., ,

Big, great house!
This house was perfect for us! It was big, clean and we didn't even hear the school across the street. The property management company was a joy to work with and took care of all our needs. We utilized the bbq, washer and dryer and wireless internet and everything worked great! There were only a couple things that could have been better is that there is only one tv in the living room, none in any of the bedrooms. Also, the neighborhood is kind of mixed...some sketchy neighbors then a nice house a couple houses down. There is a chain link fence on one side of the house that is really off-putting and weird and you can't see it in the pictures. It butts up to the alley. A delightful spot

A Great Property
This rental home is beautiful, upgraded, and well situated. The neighborhood is quiet and the house itself is really phenomenal. I stayed here with my family for a family wedding and I must say I was impressed. I brought my own sheets (as I always do because I am picky) only to find that the beds were covered with immaculate linens. All of the beds are like sleeping at the Westin on their Dream beds, and the bathrooms are gorgeous. Spoiled By A Relaxing Stay At Charm On Chestnut
My family and my sister's family stayed for five nights at Charm on Chestnut. The house is new and large with an open kitchen/eating/living area. The bathrooms are luxurious with good quality towels and sheets. The kids enjoyed playing in a kiddie pool in the front yard and kicking a soccer ball. We used the grill in the side yard and ate many of our meals outside. We were able to store our bikes in the garage so we could easily bike into town with the kids or go for longer bike rides in the surrounding countryside. Overall, it was a great week and we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Paso Robles.
