Casa Merlot is a charming three bedroom, two bath home with a spacious open floor plan, perfect for family and friends to get together. The home is in a rural Paso Robles where farm animals graze in front of neighbor’s homes. Take a walk down a country road and say hello to sheep, chickens, cows and maybe an alpaca or two. With downtown Paso Robles just 20 minutes away, you can pop into town and indulge in the many boutiques, restaurants and wine tasting rooms. Enjoy your day out wine tasting, Tobin James, Bianchi are just two of the many wineries near by. After a day of exploring the central coast, head home for a fun evening of playing pool, BBQing, and gathering around the outdoor firepit. ***Five Star Coffee Program- We start your stay with a supply of coffee, filters, coffee pods, cream, and sugar for our provided drip and pod-style coffee makers onsite at every home.******Dogs are only allowed with an additional $25/night per dog fee. The pet fee is not included in the 'initial quote'. Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog(s) during your stay, so we can charge accordingly. ***Wi-Fi and/or power outages can occur periodically in our small town and rural settings, over which we have no control***

We stayed here with our 3 adult children and 2 dogs over the Christmas holiday. The layout of the home and the amenities were perfect for us - large living/dining room to hang out in, kitchen with lots of space and plenty of cookware and dishes, completely fenced backyard for the dogs, nice hot tub. The property is very well maintained - very clean and no problems. Maria Isabel Sánchez Vegara, born in Barcelona, Spain, is a writer and creative director in constant search of new concepts for children's books. Working for more than fifteen years for clients in top advertising agencies, her books combine creativity with learning, aiming to establish a new and fresh relationship between children and pop culture. <br/> We were looking for a place in the countryside so we could walk the dogs and the home is in a beautiful setting so we enjoyed our walks. It only took about 20 minutes to get to downtown and less than that for some of the wineries we visited. I would definitely rent from Paso Robles Vacation Rentals again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was clean, comfortable, well equipped, and easy check in/out. The photos do a great job of what we got. We had 6 adults in our group and everyone had a great time. It was a squeeze to get all of us into the jacuzzi. :) The location of the property outside of town was exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely return for another stay when in the Paso Area.

Case Merlot was great. Many wineries are close by. Downtown Paso is also not far away. The house has everything that you would need for a wonderful getaway. Easy check in and check out. Would stay there again if and when we return to Paso.

Great 3 night stay, enjoyed the home amenities and essentials. Family enjoyed the pool table, horse shoes, outdoor setting, spa and included coffee. Great location for super quiet peaceful sleep. Suggest adding kitchen scissors and wood for the firepit. Overall great stay, would return.

The vacation rental itself was great - good location, cleanliness, amenities, access was easy and straightforward and information was easy to come by. My only complaint is that we were a bit disappointed when the property management staff wouldn't even check if we could have late checkout (1 hour later) because it was a long weekend, we were just told it was too hard to coordinate on a long weekend. We felt that we paid a premium to rent from a property management company rather than a private owner to get more reliable service, and that interaction made it feel like maybe that wasn't the case at all.
