Great Property, Beautiful Views and Pool/Jacuzzi - December 2018

We rented Camp 8 over the Thanksgiving Holiday and had a great time. First for you to know (which we did), the location of the property is about a 15/20 minute drive outside of downtown Paso and is not close to any grocery stores or shops, so stock up on your way in (no big deal). That more remote location though provides for a beautiful backdrop and a very quiet and serene feel to the home ( you can sleep in very late due to how quiet it is and dark the bedrooms can get). We enjoyed the setting very much including the great outdoor BBQ area by the pool where we had dinner one night. Our kids also loved the outdoor setting, running around exploring the area, enjoying the heated spa (pool isn't heated), playing basketball and football on the large driveway area, and throwing acorns around from the big tree in the backyard there. The inside of the house was nicely appointed however there are some things starting to show it's age and it probably needs a deep cleaning as well (showers had some light mold, etc.). But the kitchen was stocked well, large refrigerator to store everything you bring in, and 2 different seating areas to enjoy dinner. The family room is great also and is where 7 of us enjoyed the fire and watching Thanksgiving Day football. It would be great if they had a better outdoor fireplace as the one built into the property isn't near the main BBQ area so it wasn't worth using (and one side wouldn't work either). But all together a great vacation and a nice property that we would recommend. - Brad C., Mission Viejo, CA

Amazing stay - September 2018

We had a group of 8 for a birthday celebration. The common spaces were fantastic. Outdoor living - pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen - were fantastic. The view unbelievable. The beds were extremely comfortable. I've never seen a kitchen better equipped to cook a gourmet meal. And upside and also downside - it was a little far out of town.... no quick trips to town. - Linda T., Los Altos, CA
