Great location, great home, excellent stay

My wife and I had a great time...What better way to spend time in wine country than literally staying at/in a winery! It was nice having so much space -- the large kitchen was great, a little shopping and cooking in the day's finds from wine tasting. And the patio and BBQ were really nice -- with the view of the vineyards. We even took a couple of morning walks around the vines...Overall, great place to stay and there are plenty of wineries within 10-20 minutes driving distance to keep you busy! - Michael S., Huntington Beach, California

Amazing views

After the hiccup of not being able to unlock the door which Bryan helped me with ease. The bungalow is my all time favorite place to stay. The views of the vineyard were stunning. The drive into town is a bit of a ways out but none the less was a great stay. The property was maintained well, we enjoyed the stay. The management at Paso Robles Vacation Rentals was superb and great pleasure to deal with. I will definitely recommend to go through them. They strive to help at any way that they can. My boyfriend and I went wine tasting, beer tasting at the breweries in SLO. As well as going to Paso Robles to McClintocks for dinner and The Naked Fish for the other night. If you love sushi and want to try something different I recommend the naked fish. Amazing food. Also the bottomless mimosas at Charlie's Place in SLO is great as well. The food was good but those drinks were to die for. Overall I wish I didn't have to come back to reality. - Alysha L., Stockton, Ca

A great little home away from home with our fur children (pups)!

The property management and home was wonderfully accommodating and everything we needed for our long weekend! Gated property for the kids (dogs), clean, simple, welcoming home, and not to far of a drive from the attractions of Paso Robles. Thank you, we hope to visit again! - JulieAnn H., San Diego, CA

Worth the drive!

Although the J&J Bungalow is a bit outside of Paso Robles, it was one of the nicest stays we've ever had. It is just perfect for a couple. The view out the back is quite nice -- the pictures don't do it justice. - Gordon B., Austin, Texas

TOTAL RELAXATION

My husband and I enjoyed a much needed vacation in Paso Robles at the Bungalow at J & J Cellars. Upon arrival we were greeted by one of the winery owners as we drove up to our bungalow. She extended an invitation to join their wine club group a bit later for wine tasting. Due to the fact we had traveled from the east coast on a 5:30am flight, we were thrilled. We could not have been more welcomed by not only her, but her entire staff. We enjoyed the wine and the entertainment they had for the evening. The bungalow was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The outdoor rear patio was ALMOST within arm's reach of the vines and views from there were spectacular. We were visited on occasion by the resident calico kitty as she strolled through the landscape. The bungalow is a bit off the beaten path, but that is just what we wanted. I will highly recommend Bungalow at J & J Cellars ! - Sheila H., Smithfield, VA

Not bad just out of the way...

It was nice, quiet, clean...I was rather shocked that the Vineyard which this bungalow was on did not offer a bottle of their wine to try while there. If you cook beware of the smoke alarm as it goes off with little to no smoke that you can see. So rather stressful while cooking to try and shut it up. This is ~20 min drive from anything so plan on that. - Craig W., San Diego, CA

Excellent getaway location

A great quiet getaway for two. The staff were friendly, helpful and easygoing!!! Even the dog - Brock, was a hoot to have around and helped clean up by taking care of our steak bones after we grilled on the patio. Would definitely recommend this to those wanting some privacy and lots of options for wine tasting - Anonymous, Dallas, OR

Best pet friendly vineyard stay

We loved our stay on the property and most of all, walking the vineyards and experiencing the beauty of the winery. Perfect if you have pets and are looking for a very relaxing retreat. One of the best things was enjoying a morning cup of coffee on the outdoor patio and watching the sunrise. Looking forward to coming back soon! - Marcelle G., Costa Mesa, CA

Paso in the summer

The wife and I (and Muffin the dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at J&J bungalow. We loved the privacy and space of the bungalow. Muffin was free to run about inside the fenced yard. She loved chasing the lizards. We loved the inside and outside just as much. The kitchen was great (gas stove) and has plenty of appliances to use. Just had to do your own dishes :) The bedroom; king bed, was comfy. The bath was fine, although there were a few spider webs around the windows, but other then that the place was clean. We got plenty of use out of the outdoor BBQ. We enjoyed the morning and evening strolls through the vineyards. Internet worked fine for basic searches and surfing. The folks at J&J winery and in the tasting room were very friendly and kind. We enjoyed tasting wine several times during our 10 day stay. The bungalow is out in the San Miguel area and around other wineries, about a 15 maybe 20 minute drive to downtown Paso. We loved it and stayed for that very reason, we would for sure be back. - Robert E., Peoria, AZ

Perfect get-away!

Bungalow at J&J Cellars was a perfect choice for us. We were attending a wedding in the area. The serene atompshere of the bungalow made it a great place to get away from the bustle of the wedding, put our feet up and relax. If ever in the area, I would definitely stay here again. - Anonymous, Diamondhead, MS

A Wonderful Getaway for 2

If you are looking for solitude, this is the place. The bungalow is incredible. It is peaceful, quiet and definitely a place we will return. The winery on the property is fantastic, the staff is accommodating and personable. WE even joined their wine club. They were having their release party while we were there and made sure we had a parking space saved for when we needed it. Paso Robles Vacation Rentals were fantastic, love the App and all the detailed information given. - Anonymous, La Mesa, CA

Very Relaxing Get Away

This was a perfect house for two people looking to experience Paso Robles wine country for the first time. It was very peaceful even though it was located in the middle of the winery. The patio was perfect for breakfast and dinner. Overall a very nice experience. One suggestion. If you are going to supply a coffee maker you should also supply the coffee filters. It was kind of pain to have to buy filters. - Rick G., San Marcos, TX

Great cottage in the vineyard

We very much enjoyed our 2 days in the cottage. While the pictures are nice, the place is actually much better than the pictures show. The landscaping within the enclosed yard is lush and our dog enjoyed hunting for all sorts of critters. The place was peaceful and quiet and we heartily recommend staying at the bungalow. - Scott T., Manhattan beach, CA

This was a pleasant surprise and we love this little place in the vines. It was very peaceful, clean and comfortable. This is the second time we stayed at the Bungalow at J&J Cellars. We really enjoy this house. It is very nice, the kitchen is great and the patio area is quite beautiful for evening dinner. .... Staying at the winery

Jack the dog and I stayed at the bungalow for 28 days in February. I chose the spot for its uniqueness and dog-friendly policy. At San Miguel you drive slowly for 15 minutes along a very beautiful country road of many vineyards /wineries and farms - never tired of this ride.... The bungalow was built for a previous winemaker and is now rented . The winery is in full swing with a friendly and helpful crew. We found the property as advertised and clean . The property managers were on top of things when needed and easy to contact. As the yard is fenced, it is a very good venue for dogs. The area has many wine-tasting venues which were enjoyed. The drive to Paso Robles - a very cool town - is about 20 minutes with another 25 minutes to the coastal towns. PR itself is loaded with wineries to continue your tastings. Every day we had a destination and the drives were all eye-poppers. It is a very beautiful part of the world . My favourite part of the bungalow was being able to watch colourful sunrises AND sunsets from the back patio overlooking the vines of the property. Great biking and walking in the area .... My favourites were : walks at the Fiscalini Ranch, the bluffs of Cayucos, the beach at Morro Bay ( with great fish and chips at Giovanni's ) , the drive along the 46, strolling the streets of Paso Robles with many fine restaurants, Trader Joe's, the drive down Vineyard to multiple wineries
and the great people and dogs we met along the way. I found that the little extra time it took to arrive at this destination was worth it for the experience it offers. I would recommend it for those who think the same way....

Bungalow getaway

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of this cottage on the vineyard. The views were great! WE enjoyed walking around the property in the morning, although it was quite cold! The heaters worked well. We thought an added bonus for guests could be a hot tub on the patio because it is a bit far from town and it would be a nice amenity, especially on cold nights. The internet worked sporadically throughout the visit; it would be better if they increased the bandwidth. We also didn't really think it was necessary to have to start a load of laundry or the dishwasher if a cleaning fee was included, but that's just our opinion. - Anonymous, Redondo Beach, CA

J&J Bungalow

We arrived early and the property was made available so we could drop off our things before playing golf. That was a real plus.
We walked to the J&J Winery after they closed and had the beautiful view to ourselves.
Everything was perfect for our stay...clean and comfortable.
We would definitely recommend it.
