Home is located close to downtown and the highway to many wineries.
A little too far to walk with the warmer temps.
House was clean (wore white socks and they did not show dirt).
We enjoyed the backyard to watch the sunset.

Beautiful Bungalow

Staying in Bungalow 64 was a dream come true for my husband, myself and our dog. We spent a wonderful 14 day dream vacation in the cozy bungalow just walking distance from downtown restaurants, shops and galleries, with plenty of entertainment only minutes away. There is the beautiful 2 level back yard to enjoy with the terraced upper portion with a picnic table overlooking your own open space preserve for magnificent sunsets! And even a gas grill for evening cookouts. Melinda and Travis have not only decorated the place in a lovely manner, but will personally welcome you. Great home and owners!

We had an amazing three month stay at this home. It's close to downtown and the grocery store. The yard is amazing and our dogs loved it. Peaceful Stay

We were in between homes and had to find a temporary residence until our new home was completed. Bungalow 64 was our calm in the storm. The Bungalow has everything you need while away from home. The large backyard was great for our two dogs. The bungalow is located on a very quiet street and the neighbors are all very friendly. We loved that we could walk to downtown to enjoy all the wonderful amenities that Paso has to offer. The owners of the Bungalow 64 are extremely kind and thoughtful. A real gem!

A great home in a very quiet neighborhood close to downtown, parks and wineries! From the moment we entered the house, my golden retriever wouldn't stop wagging his tail. When we went out the fully enclosed yard, he lay on his back wiggling and kicking his feet in the air! He loved staying out the yard and running around the lawn and upper areas. The home has character and the layout was great - 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a nifty office space. The beds were super comfy and felt like sleeping on clouds =). Everything was provided - utensils, towels, bbq tools. Albertson's, Walmart, etc are a 10 min drive. Each day we visited different parks and drove to Moonstone and San Simeon beaches. The drive from hwy 46 to hwy 1 was so relaxing with wineries, wildflowers, cows, horses along the green hills. I enjoyed my stay so much I luckily was able to stay an additional night. The owners are excellent communicators, very quick to respond and informative, much appreciated. The rear yard is sunny, quiet and a relaxing location for all needs, the friendly neighborhood was a big plus, and walking dogs around town was very comfortable. The house was exceptionally clean, well-stocked for our needs, plus a recently re-modeled bathroom was good to see.

The 15-minute stroll into town for music, eats, the library and other attractions is a huge plus, especially not having to use the truck every day. Be sure to visit the Pioneer Museum, one of the best "local" collections of Americana we've seen travelling across the country. We highly recommend renting this house. - Jody A., New York, NY

Wine Tasting from Bungalow 64

What a fantastic getaway! The owners were great and flexible. The space is cozy and perfect. Beds are totally comfortable. We walked downtown and biked to wine tasting (on the East side of 101). They DO have wireless now and it's fast and fine. No sample shower supplies (shampoo, conditioner; but yes bar soap) - just as an FYI, but no big deal. Everything else was provided and perfect. We were in town for a wedding. the home worked out well as it is centrally located to downtown. It was clean and in good order. A few notes for the owners that would make the stay even better--More than 2 rolls of toilet paper would be a good start, get a full size coffee pot(the one there is a super small mini pot)would be nice if staples like sugar were in the home. Spring Break Wine Weak in Paso

My wife and I along with our two dogs recently stayed at the Bungalow 64 in Paso and had a great time. The home was the perfect size for our needs and served as a great base location for the week. A perfect weekend in Paso Robles...

We just returned from a relaxing weekend at Bungalow 64 in Paso Robles and had such an amazing time. We drove in late from Los Angeles and the hosts kindly hid keys for us so we didn't have to wake them up. Weekend Getaway & Mid State Fair Concert

Antique charm

We loved this property and the location. We met the neighbors the first night and waved to others daily. We walked to the grocery, 5 blocks and were centrally located to everything. The only minor drawbacks were: no dishwasher and a little issue with tiny ants. The owner addressed the ant issue immediately but said that they are persistent.

Beautiful Bungalow, downtown Paso Robles!

Staying at Bungalow 64 was an incredible experience! It was perfect for what my friends and I wanted. Travis was so nice and accommodating. He met us at the house and gave us a tour as well as any information we might need when we arrived. We had 2 couples (perfect for the 2 BR), and we were able to bring our 2 dogs as well! The backyard was perfect and secure to allow our pups to run around while we barbecued with beautiful scenery. The location was great...about a 10 minute drive to many wineries in Paso Robles and very close to downtown Paso with many places with patio seating where we could take our dogs as well! Cozy and warm home

We stayed at this property with my parents for our Christmas vacation. The location was great - just a short walk away from downtown Paso Robles.

My wife and our two dogs had a lovely stay in Bungalow 64 over the July 4th holiday weekend. Exactly as advertised, the home is quiet, comfortable and equipped with all the basics you could need for your stay. Super close to main downtown area, yet still quietly tucked into a residential area with few neighbors or distractions. We enjoyed full use of the spacious backyard (especially the dogs -- it was very secure!), grilled up dinner on the BBQ while eating on the patio, yet still relaxed inside with the air conditioning when we needed to. Melinda was easy to contact for check-in and check-out and we had absolutely no problems during our stay. I definitely recommend Bungalow 64! - Matt N., Los Angeles, CA

Very nice place for people with dogs

We really enjoyed staying here. Not extremely close to town, but walkalbe... but the neighborhood is quiet with little traffic so it's a nice place to walk dogs. The backyard is the perfect set up for dogs... lawn and gravel with plenty of places for humans to sit and relax. It also backs up to open space so it seems very private. House is quaint inside but it doesn't feel too small. It has all the amenities we needed for our three night stay. A Delightful Treat in Downtown Paso Robles!

My husband, our dog and I spent a relaxing month at Bungalow 64 as we transitioned from our former home in Santa Clara to our new home in Paso Robles. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Melinda (one of the owners) called to welcome us prior to arriving, and her husband Travis was there with the keys when we arrived. The Bungalow was immaculate, spacious, and had every imaginable amenity necessary, with close access to downtown, shopping, excellent restaurants, wineries and galleries, local malls, and everything you could imagine wanting. One week we took our Wire Haired Pointing Griffon, Josey, to the ocean at Cayucos four times, and the 3 of us enjoyed ourselves immensely. The gas grill and back yard could not have been nicer and more relaxing, with amazing open space views behind and the neighbors were terrific. I became friends with the housekeeper, and she does and outstanding job! I cannot recommend Bungalow 64, Melinda and Travis or Beth Burk at Paso Robles Vacation Rentals any more highly! - Anonymous, ,

Fantastic vacation home!!

I stayed at Bungalow 64 for a weekend and it was fantastic! There were just two of us but could easily accommodate 4 comfortably. All the amenities you might need are provided, the house was impeccably clean, GREAT backyard (make time for grilling if you can!), and perfect location (about 12 min walk or 3 min drive to downtown PR). We met the owner and she is really lovely. We enjoyed having our own private home for the weekend and can't say enough great things about this place. Will absolutely rent it again.

We loved every minute!

This was my first stay at Bungalow 64 and I don't mind admitting that it will be the place I look to stay any time I plan a trip to Paso. The house was easy to find and in a great part of town...central to the wineries. Comfortable living room, big dining area, convenient and well equipped kitchen, really comfortable beds, pretty bathroom (with great water temp), an amazing back yard. My friends and I spent a quick weekend at the bungalow...and we loved every minute there. I hope to stay there again!! - Misti R., San Diego, CA
