The whole house is on one level with no stairs anywhere, which makes it an easy fit for multigenerational groups or anyone who'd rather not negotiate a staircase at the end of a long day. Inside the door, the living space sits to the left: a couch, a large flat-screen, and a dining table that folds out to seat eight. Past that, the kitchen's long counter opens onto the family room, which is where everyone ends up when it's time to figure out the day.
A sliding door off the family room leads to the back patio and side yard, and the patio does a lot of the work here. There's a grill, fans overhead for August afternoons, heaters for after the sun drops, and a 52-inch outdoor TV for the game or a movie. The bedrooms sit on the opposite side of the house, along with the laundry room. The primary bedroom has a king and an en-suite bathroom. Two more have queens, and a fourth works as an office with a queen cabinet bed that folds out when you need the extra room. Those three share a hall bathroom with a tub-shower combo.
Downtown is where Paso Robles spends its time. The city square anchors it, ringed by boutiques and restaurants, with a farmers market filling the park on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The wine country roads east and west of town make for slow afternoon drives through oak-covered hills, and the coast at Morro Bay and Cambria is under an hour away when you want the ocean.
