High ceilings lift the whole suite, and a palette of soft neutrals and cool blues takes its cue from the rosewood plant growing in the gardens at Paso Market Walk just below. It feels calm the minute you walk in, and it stays that way.
Everything sits within a few easy steps. The queen bed anchors one side of the room, with a TV area close by for slow mornings and lazy evenings in. The kitchen area has more counter space than you'd expect, plus a microwave and a beverage fridge, so grabbing cheese and pastries downstairs and turning them into dinner becomes part of the fun. A dining table gives you a real spot to sit down together, and the bathroom is generously sized, with a walk-in shower and enough space to get ready without bumping elbows.
The suite is upstairs at The Lofts at The Market, right above Paso Market Walk, so coffee and a wander through the garden start at the bottom of the stairs. Downtown City Park, the galleries at Studios on the Park, and the shops and restaurants around the square are about a ten-minute walk down Spring Street. The Paso Robles Event Center, home to the California Mid-State Fair and its summer concerts, is just as close in the other direction. River Oaks Hot Springs is a few minutes away by car for an afternoon soak, Sensorio and the Estrella Warbirds Museum are a short drive east, and the rolling hills of wine country begin right at the edge of town. When you want salt air, Cambria and the coast are about 40 minutes west.
