Cozy bungalow close to restaurants and shopping
The location was great. You could walk to anything in the downtown Paso Robles area. The kitchen is large and equipped with everything you need. The bungalow had great space for 4 people. Keep in mind one of the en suite bedrooms faces Vine which has a fair amount of traffic, but it didn’t seem to bother our guests. Also, the larger en suite bedroom has no door to bathroom or toilet room, which may uncomfortable for some people, so good to know before you book.

We had a wonderful experience staying in the Bungalow on Vine. It was very clean, nicely decorated and perfect for two couples. We enjoyed bbquing and eating dinner in the back yard. We were able to have leisurely breakfast's at the home both mornings. The owners stocked the kitchen with nice dishes, a coffee pot and keurig, pans and cutting boards, etc., which made it easy to enjoy some of our meals at home. We were gratefu for the opportunity to relax at home and in the yard without the feeling that we had to rush off in order to make dining hours at nearby restaurants. The bungalow was situated to all that we were doing,....wineries, a concert and Sunsario. All of us would definitely stay at this Bungalow again. - christine b., Daly City, CA

First Time In Paso
The house is super cute! Great location within walking distance to downtown. Perfect for two couples as each bedroom has their own bathroom. One primary bedroom and bath with the other bedroom having it's own bathroom as well. Full kitchen with everything you would need to cook any meal. Nice outdoor space as well, although it was a little chilly in the evenings to sit outside. Only recommendation I would have is maybe adding a fire pit outside for guests to enjoy would be great. The Perfect Stay
This home is a gem? It has all the convenience needed in a home. The house was very clean. It has a peaceful feel to it. Beds and furniture were comfy. TV very easy to work. The back yard area has a private setting with beautiful landscape. An adorable neighborhood and close to everything. We rented this house with less than a 5 hour notice and Paso Robles Vacation rentals were the best. They listened to our needs and presented a few options and made the whole process so easy. We rolled into town from San Francisco and the house was in the process of being cleaned due to such short notice. The house keeper let us drop off our luggage and we toured the beautiful downtown square for an hour. Just enough time to pick up groceries for our stay. Everything was perfect! Great place in Paso
Very little bungalow in downtown Paso. We stayed for two wonderful weeks and enjoyed all that the Central Coast has to offer. The house was very comfortable for the two of us, and the management team was very responsible when the furnace malfunctioned. Fixed in less than a day, even though it was a weekend. House was well equipped and. Dry comfortable for the two of us. The master bedroom and bath was noticeably better than the second one, so if you’re sharing with another couple, just hope you won the coin toss for the master. The home was very clean and nice and in a great location for walking downtown. We stay with Paso Robles Vacation every time we are in Paso. This house had a couple of minor drawbacks that people should be aware of. It is on Vine St. which is a busy street and one of the two bedrooms is in the front of the house. It was quite noisy especially on garbage day when three trucks came at different times starting around 6 am. The other small issue is that the bathroom in the master has no door. I do recommend this rental. We walked to dinner most nights. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a BBQ if you want to dine in. The house was clean and as pictured. The master bath was nice. Until now, I have only had positive experiences with PRVR...unfortunately, this rental did not live up to my expectations. There were definitely positives--the location is great, the kitchen appliances are all top notch, and the house is spacious. However, I noticed a lot of small issues that quickly added up. Roughly one-third of the lights did not work, to include the outdoor light near the fountain. This basically meant that we couldn't use the space after dark. The TV is roughly the size of my iPad mini and for some odd reason is mounted below the mantle in the living room. The kitchen is not well stocked--we had five (5!) forks in total and good luck finding a cookie sheet. If more than one person/couple rents the house, then prepare to play rock-papers-scissors for who gets the tiny bedroom with an equally tiny bathroom and a too-low shower head. I really wanted to love this place...and with a minimal amount of work it could be really great. Unfortunately, right now it isn't. - Sarah M., Marina del Rey, CA

This was a perfect place for our short, 3-night stay. Loved being able to easily walk to town for dining, wine tasting, and exercising on the walking path nearby. Master bath is gorgeous with a unique double shower spray; master bedroom nice and quiet at night. Interesting lighting in dining and living room- well designed. Did some cooking in as well- kitchen ok except for ridiculously lacking enough silverware.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bungalow on Vine. Great location, good layout for two couples. Enjoyed the backyard. Kitchen was good size but we were short on silverware. It could use more forks. We only had 3 normal sized forks. Hopefully they fixed the bathroom door in the guest room because our guests got locked in several times. Our several-week stay at Bungalow on Vine was thoroughly enjoyable. Very nice layout, well furnished, and the management team was super responsive. Our two small dogs loved the backyard, and the many walks through the Paso Robles neighborhoods. Easy five block walk to the heart of downtown PR, and tons of wineries nearby. One thing detracted a small bit from our stay, and that is the location on Vine St. - at the front of the house, especially in the front bedroom, the sound of passing traffic can be incessant, as the street is the pretty busy all the time. This home was very spacious, and very close to Paso square. Quiet neighborhood, easy parking, and the master bedroom was super bright and comfortable. Couple drawbacks was just the furniture, while comfortable, was a bit large and bulky for the space. Made the home feel smaller than it was. Just a few things were not in the best condition -- i.e. kitchen faucet, tower paper holder, side tables, oven racks. A bit expensive for the condition.

Great Property & Location
Great property in an ideal location for adventures in the wine country & downtown. Well appointed modernized property w/a great layout for two couples. We encountered a number of burnt out light bulbs, particularly in the kitchen and master bath. Also, instructions on how to utilize the outdoor amenities(lighting, water feature and speakers) is a must, as we were not able to use any. The refrigerator has two janky drawers, making it difficult to close the doors! Lastly, if you want coffee, you need to bring Keurig and no coffee on premises. We stayed at Bungalow on Vine for three nights. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The area was experiencing a heatwave while we were there. So, we were VERY grateful for the fully functioning and guest controlled air conditioner. The property, while renovated, is historic. The primary bedroom had an ensuite bathroom that connected through a closet with no doors in between. The closet had a large window in it with no coverings. While it makes the closet nice and bright throughout the day, it also means that the primary bedroom lights up with the sun in the morning. The washer & dryer that was provided were dated and looked like it needed a little bit of a clean. The primary shower also had a large window that was not frosted. While the window is a little higher up and faces the neighbors backyard area, it was still a little awkward. Perfect Paso get away for couples!
Bungalow on Vine was an adorable house located close enough to downtown that we never had to drive. Enjoyed the local tasting rooms, restaurants, and shopping. Bungalow On Vine = Great for a Couple or family; not two couples
All good EXCEPT negatives of front bedroom: 1) w too little AC flow making it too hot w rear master/owners suite simultaneously too cold; 2) Front Bedroom too noisy w traffic on main Street nearest headboard of bed - FRONT BEDROOM NEEDS NOISE BLOCING WINDOWS; 3) FRONT BEDROOM NEEDS BLOCKOUT WINDOW SHADES to block exterior electric lights & vehicle lights at night.
Rear owners suite bed & bath were exceptional. Bungalow On Vine NOT good for two couples as the two bedrooms are vastly different in quality & comfort - temperature, level of light at night, & level of outside noise.
After seeing notes in comments by past renters of Bungalow On Vine requesting written instructions for water feature & gas grill - I requested at rental ap, before ck-in & at/after ck-in & NO WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS EVER SUPPLIED. Rental Management said " They had assigned instruction info as a special project to be completed before our ck-in." Renal mgrs failed to do so.
All else was A+ at Bungalow On Vine. We loved the different exterior sitting areas, nice landscaping & shade trees, well appointed kitchen, spacious clothes closets, immaculate cleanliness & decor. Location is perfect w great walking neighborhood close to cute, fun downtown Paso Robles' restaurants & shops. We were delighted w quaint downtown of Paso Robles within walking distance & easy parking if driving. We had one adult in front bedroom, & a husband/wife in owner's suite. Well stocked kitchen. TV, internet, AC worked. Nice seating in backyard. Master bedroom very large but 2nd bedroom more suitable for kids.
We would have loved front porch seating to enjoy sunset and people watch. Entire outside could use some love. House needs power wash of dirt and cobwebs. Lovely shade but somewhat overgrown making house feel dark. Packed dirt parkway is not welcoming. This home is really cute! We had 2 couples stay here and it was completely adequate. The management company was great. Check-in and check-out was really easy. Comfy beds and nice outdoor patios. The front bedroom gets some traffic noise. The master bath does not have a door on it and no shower door so that was odd but it was fine. This home is perfect for two couples. The bedrooms were on opposite sides of the house with ample shared space. The kitchen was well stocked with utencils, pots/pans, etc., and even included some spices. It was pretty cold so we didn't get to use the outdoor seating but it looked like a nice place to hang out. One of the bathrooms didn't have a door so if you want privacy you have to close the bedroom door, not a biggy, just different. The closets were huge and they even included board games. The downtown area is close...about a 5-10 minute walk. If you drive back at night, be careful finding the driveway. It's pretty small and there wasn't much lighting outside. Perfect for 2 couples - unit is clean & cozy with a fully stocked kitchen and all the amenities one could need (even a blow dryer). Beds are really comfortable BUT if you prefer to sleep in, bring an eye mask as there are no black out shades in either of the bedrooms. We loved staying at the Bungalow. Wonderful weekend with friends celebrating our 40th birthdays. Very clean and simple set-up; comfortable beds; walking distance to food and coffee shops. Lots of great wineries within 30-40min drive. Only 45min drive to beautiful Moonstone Beach.
Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the master shower window doesn't have any privacy shades/glass.

The house was just perfect for a weekend trip visiting Paso Robles. The house was in great condition, very clean, and inviting. The beds were very comfortable, the linens and towels were nice. We planned on cooking dinners during our stay and the kitchen was equipped with everything one would need to cook a complete meal. The BBQ worked great and was in a small patio area with a water feature. Very relaxing! The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, near the downtown area. Great house near DT Paso
House was great, no door on the bathroom of the bigger bedroom suite which would have been good to know. The 2 bedrooms are not close in size, same with the bathrooms. Totally ok but would have been good to know ahead of time. Small things missing like something to clean the dishes off with before putting them in the dishwasher. We made such a good choice!
This incredibly well-equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully sleek, modern cottage was the perfect place to spend 3 weeks with my mother and daughter. We lacked for nothing, the location is ideal for a walk to the park, and there is even a gardener who tends the immaculate garden and rose bushes. The large main bed/ dressing room/ bath with hidden washer dryer is a layout I may copy in my own home! Second bedroom is smaller, also with walk-in closet and perfect adequate bathroom. The kitchen is modern, unexpected from the outside appearance of the house, but it is gorgeous, well-equipped and beautifully lit.
We have since moved into the area, and will certainly recommend this house to our friends when they visit us. A huge thank you to the owners for their beautiful addition to the rental pool.

We loved everything about this property. The location was great. The remodel of this property was very well done. The layout of the house was very nice. The showers were great, the beds comfortable. It was clean and very well equipped. The app used by the rental agency was very nice. It allowed you to check in and out with the app. My only criticism would be that the television was in a bit of a weird location on the wall and I would have liked a second television in the master bedroom. Totally satisfied with the house - very clean and well supplied (if you wanted to cook - which I did not). Could have used more hangers so I bought two sets and left them there for your next guests.
